A Collective Binomial Learning Methodology

In second-language learning, learners frequently have a poor environment for speaking and hearing the target language. Learning efficiency is thus limited. We propose a methodology involving the creation of temporary social structures. Collective interactions fed back among individuals and environment are constructed on a computer and practiced in a real world. A dynamic learning system which coherently ties together the practitioner’s design, the learner’s performance and the researcher’s theories is possible. Our results call for language learning structures to include adaptive spoken structures, in contrast with existing educational systems.

Since the seminal work of Granovetter (1995), the sociological literature highlighted the importance of social relationships, like friends, relatives and acquaintances, as sources of information on jobs in labor markets. Such importance is also confirmed by a number of empirical studies.3 More recently, economists have devoted considerable attention to this topic,4 so that the study of individual and aggregate economic outcomes produced by the presence of social relationships in labor markets is becoming a fruitful research area in economics.

This study clarifies the quality of secondary school students' collaboration in dyadic face-to-face and computer chat debates during argumentative discussions. Abstract Children’s early social interactional behaviors and symbolic play competence were studied at 14 months in a sample of 111 mother-infant pairs. The categories of social interactional behaviors, joint visual attention, socially coordinated and object oriented interactions were assessed via observations of mother-infant joint play. This paper presents a multi-agent framework designed to simulate synthetic humans that properly balance task oriented and social behaviors. The work presented in this paper focuses on the social library integrated in BDI agents to provide socially acceptable decisions.
