The aim of the study is to evaluate the effects of a workplace bullying intervention based on the training of middle managers regarding bullying awareness, the consequences of bullying, strategies in conflict resolution and mediation/negotiation abilities. Overall, 142 randomly selected middle managers participated in the study. First, participants completed an information record and two scales assessing bullying strategies, role conflict and role ambiguity. The last two scales were completed again in a second phase three months after the intervention had finished. Many authors have proposed that early life stress (ELS) provokes a dysregulation of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis and contributes negatively to the management of stress in adulthood. However, these associations have not always been observed, making it necessary to include new factors that could explain the different results found. In this regard, people with ELS experiences report less social support during adulthood, suggesting that loneliness could be a mediating factor. Objective: The objective of this study was to explore the impact of social support on acculturation process and its’ outcomes on the current mental and physical health of refugees resettling in Jyväskylä, Finland. Method: Data were gathered qualitatively. Eight participants of refugee back ground filled out a questionnaire assessing sociodemographic information and participated in semi-structured interviews. El estudio 1 se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de explorar las propiedades psicométricas y estructura factorial del cuestionario de apoyo comunitario percibido. El estudio 2 examina la relación del apoyo comunitario con diversos indicadores del ajuste psicológico. El estudio 3 se realizó para comprobar si existen diferencias en la percepción de apoyo comunitario entre participantes de áreas residenciales normales y de alto riesgo. Diferencias entre apoyo social y ambiente familiar en adolescentes con reportes de bienestar subjetivo

Resumen El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la relación entre los distintos factores relativos al ambiente familiar, el conocimiento y el goce de derechos familiares, y el apoyo social con adolescentes altos en bienestar subjetivo. Previo consentimiento informado, participaron 259 estudiantes de escuelas secundarias con niveles de excelencia en el rendimiento académico en una ciudad del noroeste de México.
