The aim of this paper was to analyze how cultural identification, perceived discrimination and the sense of community are related to life satisfaction among foreign partners in intercultural families. The study compared 105 and 95 foreign partners in mixed families resident in Italy and Spain, respectively. The phenomenon in both countries displays similar sociodemographic aspects. This PhD work aims to analyse the way French cities seize and implement the Agefriendly Cities approach on their territories. Thanks to seventy semi-guided interviews, a second data analysis and active observation, we studied how thirteen French cities decided to implement the Age-friendly Cities approach.This work of research revolves around ideas about how to combat ageism, about the importance of consulting the inhabitants and of using a cross-disciplinary way of work. ResumenSe reporta una investigación cualitativa cuyo objetivo fue develar cómo infl la racionalidad instrumental de las políticas en las prácticas de los cuerpos académicos y la formación ética de estudiantes. Se reunieron 17 narrativas de profesores de dos universidades. El análisis combinó los procedimientos de teoría fundamentada y etnografía. Se encontró que: a) la racionalidad instrumental se refleja en las interacciones académicas y en las finalidades priorizadas; b) se busca formar en la ética del reconocimiento y el compromiso, pero mediante la socialización en la que afloran la reificación y la cooperación interesada. Efficiency wage theory, evolved by the "new keynesians", is part of a research programme concerned with explaining "involuntary" unemployment as part of the "general equilibrium". So, these works are a synthesis attempt of neo-classical and keynesian analyses in the employment area. Indeed, the authors place their analysis in a walrasian framework, but they integrate a keynesian concept to complete their models. Les elections europeennes de juin 2009 ont vu la tres nette victoire des partis de la droite moderee. Cette nouvelle « vague bleue » si elle affirme l’hegemonie des droites sur les gauches, redessine aussi la carte du conservatisme europeen. Dans un contexte de crise sociale et economique, ces resultats posent question : pourquoi les defenseurs du liberalisme economique reussissent si bien partout en Europe au detriment des forces progressistes ?
