Une approche macro-économétrique interrégionale appliquée de la solidarité entre les territoires français
1996
International audience; Redistribution among French region : an interregional macro-modelling essay. First we start on a general survey of French regional economic equilibrium in a dualistic sense : is there any convergence between Paris region and the other parts of the national territory ? Things must be considered separately as they involve primary allocation (wages, entrepreneurial revenue) or redistribution process. On the medium term the redistribution bonus is more and more oriented towards non central regions, partly due to economic reason but also as an impact of national income policies. After a general summary of the modelling process uses here as a tool, we present some macro-ev…
Guidance of surface elastic waves along a linear chain of pillars
2016
International audience; The propagation of surface elastic waves, or surface phonons, is considered along a linear and periodic chain of cylindrical pillars sitting on a semi-infinite solid substrate. A variety of guided modes, some of them exhibiting a very low group velocity, are shown to exist at frequencies close to the resonance frequencies of the pillars. Although the pillar diameter is typically smaller than half the relevant wavelength, lateral radiation on the surface is found to be canceled. Surface guidance is explained by the hybridization of the resonating pillars with the continuum of elastic waves of the substrate.
Structural and hydrogenation study on the ball milled TiH2–Mg–Ni
2015
International audience; With the aim of further understanding for TieNieMg alloys and their hydrogenation behavior, powders of TiH2, Mg and Ni with the molar ratio of 3:1:2 have been mechanically milled for 10 h, 20 h, 30 h, 40 h according to the stoichiometry (TiH2)1.5Mg0.5Ni. Microstructures of the milled sample were analyzed and their hydrogenation properties as negative electrodes for Ni-MH batteries were studied. Phase change with milling time revealed the fast formation of the Ti-Mg-H FCC phase. The alloying priority among Ti, Mg and Ni was demonstrated by comparing phase compositions in different milling time. Hydrogen capacities evaluated by both solidegas reaction and electrochemic…
A novel soft robotic pediatric in vitro swallowing device to gain insights into the swallowability of mini-tablets Authors

A few remarks about the computer implementation and the verification of some hyperelastic constitutive laws and an illustration with the mechanical r…
2022
In this short technical note, we are interested in the constitutive equations used to model macroscopically the mechanical function of soft tissues under mechanical loading. Soft tissues have the ability to undergo large elastic reversible deformations under quasi-static loading and are usually modelled using hyperelastic constitutive laws. Several constitutive equations have been defined in the literature by means of strain components or strain invariants isotropic hyperelastic models. This short technical note recalls how to derive the weak form for hyperelasticity equations, and how this weak form can be linearized. It also presents a semi-analytical solution for a simplified geometry re…
Analyse numérique de structures sandwichs viscoélastiques et modèle à dérivées fractionnaires
2019
The work deals with the free vibration problem of sandwich structures with a viscoelastic core. Zener model with fractional derivatives with four parameters is used to describe the viscoelastic behaviour. The fractional law is implemented in a numerical tool based on the Ritz method and a variable kinematics approach which is particularly adapted for sandwich plate modelling, the Sublaminate Generalized Unified Formulation (SGUF). The non-linear eigenvalue problem that arises from the frequency dependence of the viscoelastic properties is solved using an iterative algorithm. The approach is validated on several examples consisting of viscoelastic sandwich beam and plate structures, includin…
