Polyoxometalate-Based Molecular Materials.
1998
Molecule-based materials with active physical properties, in particular electrical, magnetic, and optical, are a focus of contemporary materials chemistry research. Certainly, one reason for this interest has been the realization that these materials can exhibit cooperative properties typically associated with the inorganic network solids, as for example metallic conduction or even superconductivity,1 ferromagnetism,2 and nonlinear optical properties.3 With respect to the electrical properties, many important achievements were obtained in the 1970s with the discovery of the first molecule-based metal in 1972,4 namely the π-electron donor-acceptor complex [TTF][TCNQ] (TTF ) tetrathiafulvalen…
Synthesis of chemisorbed imidazolium and phosphonium cations by reaction of ionic liquid precursors with silica.
2010
The reaction of four different basic ionic liquid precursors with Aerosil®300 is presented. Chemisorbed imidazolium and phosphonium cations, with silanolate anions as part of the silicatic support, were obtained and investigated with various solid state NMR techniques.

An attempt is made to correlate crystallographic changes arising during the radiation induced polymerisation of trioxane with the morphological changes observed during this process. Particular emphasis is placed on the differences which are noted with changing polymerisation time and temperature, so that both nucleation and growth could be discussed.
Solid Solutions in the Xanthone–Thioxanthone Binary System: How Well Are Similar Molecules Discriminated in the Solid State?
2020
The binary system of xanthone–thioxanthone has been explored, showing that two solid solutions (formed based on xanthone and thioxanthone parent structures, respectively) exist for this system. One...
Some Soluble Polydiacetylenes Derived from 10, 12-Docosadiyn-1, 22-Diol
1983
Abstract Synthesis and physical properties of some new soluble polydiacetylenes obtained by solid state polymerization of derivatives of 10,12-Docosadiyn-1,22-diol(1) are described.
H-Point Standard Addition Method Applied to Voltammetry of Microparticles. Quantitation of Dyes in Pictorial Samples
2007
A solid-state electrochemical application of the H-point standard addition method (HPSAM) for quantifying two electroactive compounds, A, B, that produce strongly overlapped voltammetric peaks is described. It is based on peak current measurement in square-wave voltammograms recorded for solid samples containing a reference compound R, upon additions of a A- (or B-) containing standard compound. The method allows to the determination of the mass fraction of A and B by applying the H-point standard addition method to solid state voltammetry. The quotients between the currents measured at two selected potentials and the peak current of R vary linearly with the mass ratio of the added standard…
Maturation of a Key Resource – The Germanium-68/Gallium-68 Generator: Development and New Insights
2011
(68)Ge/(68)Ga radionuclide generators have been investigated for almost fifty years, since the cyclotron-independent availability of positron emitting (68)Ga via the (68)Ge/(68)Ga system had always attracted researches working in basic nuclear chemistry as well as radiopharmaceutical chemistry. However, it took decades and generations of research (and researchers) to finally reach a level of (68)Ge/(68)Ga radionuclide generator designs adequate to the modern requirements of radiometal labelling chemistry. Nevertheless, most of the existing commercial generator systems address aspects of (68)Ge breakthrough and safe synthesis of (68)Ga radiopharmaceuticals by adopting eluate post-processing …
