Background: Numerous surveys have been performed to determine the competence and the confidence of residents. However, there is no data available on the condition of Italian residents in urology. Objective: To investigate the status of training among Italian residents in urology regarding scientific activity and surgical exposure. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad explorar la trayectoria evolutiva de la comprensión de cuatro emociones en niños de tres a cinco años. Sabemos que los niños identifican las expresiones faciales y después entienden la causa de las emociones, pero ¿las emociones se comprenden a la vez, en el mismo momento evolutivo? Para llevar a cabo este estudio se evaluó de forma longitudinal a un grupo de 103 niños y niñas entre los 3 y los 5 años. En este trabajo se describe un instrumento basado en el uso de una técnica de análisis factorial con el fin de medir la calidad de la educación a través de una muestra de estudiantes de postgrado de una universidad pública española. El instrumento tiene unas aceptables propiedades psicométricas (fiabilidad y validez). En cuanto a la solución factorial, tres dimensiones principales se han determinado: la importancia dada a la materia; recursos educativos y conocimiento de la materia (anterior y posterior). Abstract The Intellectual Capital of a firm is the sum total of its Human Capital, Structural Capital and Relational Capital. These assets form a source of distinct competitive advantage and distinguish the performance of one firm from the other. Some organizations appear to continue relying on traditional resources for wealth creation but they should increase their attention towards a greater reliance on intellectual capital factors. This study attempts to investigate the role of intellectual capital in nowadays modern organizations and in particular, its relevance for education institutions such as universities.
