This  research  is  done  in  order  to  examine  the  role  of  the  brand  capital  in higher education. Il contributo si propone di scandagliare la tensione, cui si trova la pubblica amministrazione, tra esigenze di semplificazione e ricerca di forme di partecipazione inclusive. Partendo da una disamina del contesto attuale, dei problemi collegati al digital divide, si analizza la portata del rapporto tra innovazione sociale e welfare digitale nella pubblica amministrazione. Si approfondisce altresì il tema delle ICT come strumenti di benessere sociale, anche in funzione di trasparenza. Nuovi modelli di condivisione delle scelte: “decisioni a rete e in rete”.

Microgastrinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) in the Forest State of Artikutza (Navarra: Spain): Diversity and Community Structure

Microgastrinae is one of the largest subfamilies of the Braconidae with about 2,000 described species worldwide. These wasps are of enormous ecological interest due to their role in controlling the caterpillar populations. This study analyses diversity and community structure within the Microgastrinae in the Artikutza Forest, located in the Peñas de Aia Natural Park, western Pyrenees, Spain. In this paper, we present a novel approach to wind speed spatial estimation on the isle of Sicily (Italy): an incremental self-organizing neural network (Generalized Mapping Regressor – GMR) is coupled with exploratory data analysis techniques in order to obtain a map of the spatial distribution of the average wind speed over the entire region. Dopo una premessa sui committenti, si indagano i più rappresentativi simulacri lignei del XVIII secolo della Sicilia occidentale. Le statue sono state eseguite, secondo la pertinente temperie culturale, da scultori locali, talvolta ignari dei tratti innovativi del tempo, che hanno reiterato stilemi dei secoli precedenti. Tra gli artisti con bottega a Palermo, aggiornati alle più moderne istanze, si annoverano Barcellona, Quattrocchi e Valenza. Compression and load balancing for efficient sparse matrix-vector product on multicore processors and graphics processing units

We contribute to the optimization of the sparse matrix-vector product by introducing a variant of the coordinate sparse matrix format that balances the workload distribution and compresses both the indexing arrays and the numerical information. Our approach is multi-platform, in the sense that the realizations for (general-purpose) multicore processors as well as graphics accelerators (GPUs) are built upon common principles, but differ in the implementation details, which are adapted to avoid thread divergence in the GPU case or maximize compression element-wise (i.e., for each matrix entry) for multicore architectures.
