Autentiskie video materiāli runātprasmju pilnveidei 8. klasē

Diplomdarba mērķis bija pārbaudīt, kā autentiskie video materiāli ietekmē runāšanas prasmes 8. klasē. Diplomdarba autors uzskata, ka spēja izteikt viedokli ir prasme, kuru katram studentam vajadzētu prast pielietot. Turklāt, teorijas avoti apstiprina to, ka autentiskie video var iespaidot runāšanas prasmes. Izvēlētā pētījuma metode bija atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums Valsts Ģimnāzijā. Datu vākšanas metodes bija anketa, pašvērtējuma lapa skolēniem un vērtēšanas kritēriji, ko dokumentēja darba autors. Lai pārbaudītu autentisko video ietekmi, tika novadītas 3 stundas. Virtual reality (VR) offers new and flexible ways to provide psychological interventions. The aim of this study was to develop and investigate the effectiveness of a VR intervention based on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) for social and public speaking anxiety. ACT is a process-based approach that aims to (a) increase individuals’ abilities to handle difficult emotional and cognitive experiences and (b) develop the motivation required for change to occur. Tämä laadullinen tutkimus tuo yhden näkökulman globaaliin keskusteluun siitä ovatko englantia äidinkielenään puhuvat opettajat, omilla ääntämis- ja kielenkäyttötavoillaan, tarpeellisia opiskeltaessa englantia vieraana kielenä (EFL). Factorial Structure and Psychometric Properties of a Brief Scale of the Condom Use Self-Efficacy for Spanish-Speaking People

Background. Studies have shown the role played by perceived self-efficacy in explaining condom negotiation and condom use. Aims. The factorial structure and the psychometric properties of the Brief Condom Use Self-Efficacy Scale are presented. Method. The study included 368 men and 456 women aged 17 to 55 years ( Mage = 25.01, SD = 6.93). Results. Exploratory factor analysis yielded three factors: fear of rejection, impulse control, and condom acquisition and negotiation, which together accounted for 68% of the total variance. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan sitä, miten thainkielisten suomenoppijoiden (N=10) ensikielen tunnistaminen vaikuttaa Yleisten kielitutkintojen (YKI) suomen arvioijien (N=44) käsityksiin kielitaidosta ja millaisia käsityksiä arvioijilla on thainkielisten suullisesta kielitaidosta. Artikkelin aineisto liittyy Rikkinäistä suomea-hankkeeseen, jossa thainkieliset oli yksi tutkimukseen osallistuneesta ensikielen ryhmittymästä. Artikkelissa määrällisen aineiston avulla tarkastellaan tunnistamista ja arvioinnissa käytettyjen kuuden analyyttisen arviointikriteerin käyttöä.
