T cell–mediated response to SARS‐CoV‐2 in liver transplant recipients with prior COVID‐19

Abstract Whether immunosuppression impairs severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2‐specific T‐cell‐mediated immunity (SARS‐CoV‐2‐CMI) after liver transplantation (LT) remains unknown. We included 31 LT recipients in whom SARS‐CoV‐2‐CMI was assessed by intracellular cytokine staining (ICS) and interferon (IFN)‐γ FluoroSpot assay after a median of 103 days from COVID‐19 diagnosis. Serum SARS‐CoV‐2 IgG antibodies were measured by ELISA. A control group of non‐transplant immunocompetent patients were matched (1:1 ratio) by age and time from diagnosis. Wychodząc z założenia, że wszelkie katastrofy, zarówno przyrodnicze, jak i spowodowane przez człowieka, mają kulturowy wymiar, w artykule skoncentrowałam się nie na samych miejscach tragicznych naznaczonych śmiercią i krwią, ale na kształtowaniu się wyobrażeń związanych z tymi miejscami w efekcie kontaktu z nimi turystów. Śledzę zatem proces mityzacji, a nawet sakralizacji „czarnych miejsc” (black spots), funkcjonowania wyobrażeń na temat katastrofy (w Czarnobylu czy w Smoleńsku), które determinują wszystkie następne zachowania wobec kolejnych katastrof. SUMMARY Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory systemic disease affecting the spine, sacroiliacal and peripheral joints. Although the aetiology of AS remains unknown, the strong association with the HLA-B27 allele might reflect directly a detrimental effect of the HLA-B27 molecule itself, resulting from its potential capability to present ‘arthritogenic’ peptides to CD8+ T cells. Taiteilijoiden asemaa suomalaisilla työmarkkinoilla tarkastellaan erinäisten tutkimusten ja virallisdokumenttien kautta. Abstract Background Mediterranean spotted fever (MSF) is an acute febrile, zoonotic disease caused by Rickettsia conorii and transmitted to humans by the brown dogtick Rhipicephalus sanguineus. Nearly four hundred cases are reported every year (mainly from June to September) on the Italian island of Sicily. The purpose of this paper is to describe the aporias in the institutional discourse regarding the strategies of reception-refoulement of asylum seekers in Italy. First, it will analyze the evolution of the institutional discourse on security in recent years through a reflection on some aspects of the Schengen Treaty and the Dublin Convention of 1985 (Dublion I, II and III) and “Regimes of Mobility” (Glick Schiller & Salazar, 2013).
