This paper presents a Web-based data integration methodology and tool framework, called X-TIME, for the development of business-to-business (B2B) design environments and applications. X-TIME provides a data model translator toolkit based on an extensible metamodel and XML. It allows the creation of adaptable semantics oriented metamodels to facilitate the design of wrappers or reconciliators (mediators) by taking into account several characteristics of interoperable information systems such as extensibility and composability. In this paper, we report the sensor function design and implementation of a wireless sensor network application for measuring environmental acoustic noise. The system is built on ATmega128 and CC2420 platform. The protocol stack is based on CiNet stack with a global synchronization scheme and supports multi-hop communications. Strict filtering function specified by ITU-R 468 (namely A-weighting) is followed. Both the indoor and outdoor test results were compared with standard sound level meters (CESVA SC-20c and Pulsar94) and showed a less than ±2dB error in both short-term and longterm measurement. In Chaps. 3 and 4, we presented the analytical models and simulation approaches to study the impact of CA and CF on traffic flows in the single-flow single-user and the single-flow multi-user systems. In this chapter, we investigate the impact of CA and CF in a test-bed. We employ a software defined radio (SDR) from National Instruments (NI) to evaluate the performance of a CR system with user datagram protocol (UDP) flows. The adopted SDR is based on LTE protocol stack with additional functionalities that can support CA and CF, and accommodating PUs. Here we calculate the Chern classes of ${\bar {\mathcal M}}_{g,n}$, the moduli stack of stable n-pointed curves. In particular, we prove that such classes lie in the tautological ring.

The synthesis and characterization of a series of three-dimensional (3D) Hofmann-like clathrate porous metal-organic framework (MOF) materials [Fe(bpac)M(CN) 4] (M=Pt, Pd, and Ni; bpac=bis(4-pyridyl)acetylene) that exhibit spin-crossover behavior is reported. The rigid bpac ligand is longer than the previously used azopyridine and pyrazine and has been selected with the aim to improve both the spin-crossover properties and the porosity of the corresponding porous coordination polymers (PCPs). Abstract In this chapter we will give short review of computer modelling/simulations of DNA manipulation as a complementary tool to current single molecule manipulation experiments in order to follow the impact on molecular structure during the manipulation experiments. As an example we report molecular dynamics simulations of a 22 base-pair DNA fragment in an explicit water solution with counter-ions to mimic a torsionally unconstrained single-molecule stretching experiment. Abstract A rotating wheel system for the detection of spontaneously fissioning reaction products from heavy ion reactions was developed. In this system products recoiling from a rotating target wheel are stopped in a catcher foil stack which can be rotated at various velocities up to 80 rotations per second. All products emitted within a wide emission cone are stopped in the catcher foils and are rotated into shielded positions with stationary fission-track detectors positioned on both sides of each rotating foil. Abstract A pb-2 Rayleigh–Ritz variational approach for the analysis of post-buckling behavior of cracked composite plates is presented. The plate is modeled by the first order shear deformation theory taking geometric nonlinearities into account through the von Karman’s theory. General stacking sequences are considered. Cracks are modeled by using subdomain decomposition of the plate coupled with penalty techniques, used to augment the variational statement with the needed continuity conditions along the connected subdomains edges.
