Abstract: We investigated the effects of woody plant colonization of abandoned pastures on soil and litter organic carbon (C) stocks and nitrogen (N) content along a bioclimatic transect in a semi-arid environment (Sicily, Italy). Soil samples were taken in three successional stages (grazed pasture, shrubland, forest) within each of three bioclimates (supramediterranean - “supra”, mesomediterranean - “meso”, thermomediterranean - “thermo”). Organic C and N in litter and soil (0-10 cm and 10-30 cm depth) were determined, as well as soil bulk density. The abiotic and biotic characteristics of the first sites where floss silk tree behaves as a casual alien plant in the Mediterranean Europe are described. The species was probably first planted in botanical gardens of southern France few decades before mid XIX century. It was introduced in Palermo in 1896, a city which appears to match very well its climatic requirements. According to the available information on its biology and ecology in both its original and secondary range, the floss silk tree should not become an invasive alien plant in the Mediterranean. Groves with ancient olive trees (Olea europaea L.) could be considered remnants of old agroforestry systems. Anything but static, these agro-ecosystems have undergone drastic transformational processes in Mediterranean countries, where abandonment or intensification have been observed far more than continuity, expansion or renaissance, leading to environmental degradation of rural areas. Darba autore pētīja privāta testamenta formu, problēmjautājumus un attīstības tendences, konstatējot nepilnības privāta testamenta normatīvajā regulējumā un piedāvājot tām risinājumus. Darbā ir trīs nodaļas. Pirmā nodaļa ir veltīta testamenta jēdzienam. Autore pētīja testamenta jēdziena vēsturisko attīstību, pievēršot uzmanību testamenta pamatpazīmēm. Tika analizēta testēšanas brīvība kā personas tiesība un tās ierobežojumi, kā arī jēdziena "brīva griba" izpratne. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt privātā testamenta formu un analizēt privātā testamenta attīstības tendences. Tika analizētas vēsturiskās Latvijas Republikas Civillikuma redakcijas, kā arī spēkā esošā Latvijas Republikas Civillikuma redakcija. Autore izmantoja literatūru latviešu un angļu valodā, izpētija Latvijas tiesu praksi, nacionālo un ārvalstu literatūru, konsultējās ar zvērinātu notāri, lai pilnvērtīgi izpildītu darbā izvirzīto mērķi.Darba izstrādes laikā tika sniegti vērtējumi par testamenta attīstības tendencēm, tika konstatētas nepilnības, sniegti ieteikumi un piedāvāti risinājumi konstatētajām nepilnībām, ar kuru palīdzību būtu iespējams panākt uzlabojumus.
