The present study analyzed the ability of primary rat astrocytes to colonize a porous scaffold, mimicking the reticular structure of the brain parenchyma extracellular matrix, as well as their ability to grow, survive and differentiate on the scaffold. Wind accretion in the massive X-ray binary 4U 2206+54: abnormally slow wind and a moderately eccentric orbit

Massive X-ray binaries are usually classified depending on the properties of the donor star in classical, supergiant and Be X-ray binaries. The massive X-ray binary 4U 2206+54 does not fit in any of these groups, and deserves a detailed study to understand how the transfer of matter and the accretion on to the compact object take place. To this end we study an IUE spectrum of the donor and obtain a wind terminal velocity (v_inf) of ~350 km/s, which is abnormally slow for its spectral type. We also analyse here more than 9 years of available RXTE/ASM data. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan Helsingin yliopistossa kasvatus- ja opetusalan johtamisen täydennyskoulutukseen osallistuneiden varhaiskasvatuksen ja perusopetuksen johtajien näkemyksiä johtamisosaamisen kehittämisestä ja oman johtajuutensa kehittämistarpeista. Pēc desmit ceļā pavadītiem gadiem un 2.5 gadiem pavadītiem hibernācijas periodā, Eiropas kosmosa aģentūras (angļu: European Space Agency, ESA) izpētes misija Rosetta uz komētu 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko ir pilnā datu ieguves režīmā, ar visiem tās 22 zinātniskajiem instrumentiem darbībā, lai izprastu mūsu Saules Sistēmas pirmsākumus. Komētas fizikālais raksturojums parāda, ka tās aptuvenais vidējais blīvums ir ~470 kg/m3 ar relatīvi mīkstu dabu un porozitāti no 70% līdz 80%. Šādām īpašībām apveltītas arī komētas mazākās daļiņas – putekļu graudi, ko parāda Rosettas COSIMA un MIDAS instrumenti - tām ir zema kohēzija tās viegli sadalās. La tesis analiza pormenorizadamente los distintos programas sociales implementados en México durante el período crucial de su transición política. Con ello se trata de comprender las razones por las cuales, a pesar de haber invertido muchos recursos y a pesar del signo radicalmente distinto de los gobiernos que aplicaron esas políticas sociales, los índices de pobreza de México, no sólo no disminuyeron sino, en algunos casos, incluso aumentaron.
