Centrality dependence of ψ(2S) suppression in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

The inclusive production of the ψ(2S) charmonium state was studied as a function of centrality in p-Pb collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center of mass energy √ sNN = 5.02 TeV at the CERN LHC. The measurement was performed with the ALICE detector in the center of mass rapidity ranges −4.46 < ycms < −2.96 and 2.03 < ycms < 3.53, down to zero transverse momentum, by reconstructing the ψ(2S) decay to a muon pair. The ψ(2S) production cross section σψ(2S) is presented as a function of the collision centrality, which is estimated through the energy deposited in forward rapidity calorimeters. The combustion of black liquor (BL) in a recovery boiler is a central process in a kraft pulp mill for recovering the cooking chemicals and for producing heat and power. This work explored the most important combustion behavior of BL, the swelling of in-flight droplets, from the viewpoint of liquor composition. It also studied the combustion behavior of BL droplets obtained from two biorefining subprocesses (carbonation and hot-water pretreatment, HWP) and sulfur-free pulping alternatives (soda-anthraquinone (AQ) and oxygen-alkali pulping). Understanding politics as a contingent and controversial activity, politicisation refers to those activities that create or make visible the political quality in the phenomena in question. Parliamentarisation is a distinct strategy of politicisation. In this chapter, parliament refers to a certain procedural and institutional ideal type of acting politically. AbstractAt Risk Mental State (ARMS) clinics are specialised mental health services for young, help-seeking people, thought to be at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis. Their stated purpose is to reduce transitions from the ARMS state to clinical psychotic disorder. Reports of ARMS clinics provide ‘evidence-based recommendations’ or ‘guidance’ for the treatment of such individuals, and claim that such clinics prevent the development of psychosis. However, we note that in an area with a very well-developed ARMS clinic (South London), only a very small proportion (4%) of patients with first episode psychosis had previously been seen at this clinic with symptoms of the ARMS. Vairāki psihiskie traucējumi ir saistīti ar psoriāzi, etiopatoģenēze ir daudzveidīga. Dažas psihiskas blakusslimības var rasties hroniskas ādas slimības psihosociālās ietekmes rezultātā. No otras puses, psoriāzi var uzturēt un saasināt pacienta esošais psihiskais stāvoklis, tādējādi veidojot apburto loku. Bērnības pieredze nosaka to, kā veidosies cilvēka personības stiprās un vājās puses, tā ietekmē reakciju uz saslimšanu, tajā skaitā- psoriāzi. Pārliecinošu valodas līdzekļu lietojums uzņēmumu misiju apgalvojumos

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek analizēti pārliecinošie valodas līdzekļi un to izmantošana uzņēmumu misiju apgalvojumos klientu uzmanības piesaistīšanai. Pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantotas dīvas metodes: atbilstošās literatūras izpēte un diskursa analīze. Pētījuma datu kopums sastāv no trīsdesmit naftas kompāniju misiju apgalvojumiem. Tika secināts, ka misiju apgalvojumos izmantotie pārliecinošie valodas izteiksmes līdzekļi ietekmē lasītāju piesaistot to uzmanību. Turklāt, pētījums atklāj, ka izvēlētajā korpusā visbiežāk izmantotie pārliecinošās valodas līdzekļi ir: īpašības vārds (26%), iekļaujošā valoda (19%), vietniekvārdi (18%), atkārtošanās (17%), aliterācija (12%).
