Racial stacking et stéreotypes raciaux en sport collectif : le cas particulier du basket-ball en contexte français

This doctoral research investigates how categorization and stereotypes are conveyed when it comes to ethnic discrimination in basket-ball. The first study (racial stacking which was performed in the Pro National Basket-ball League A in France) shows that white players are more likely to be over-represented when it comes to the position of point guard considered as central in regard to the performance. An SVM Ensamble Approach to Detect Irony and Stereotype Spreaders on Twitter

The problem we address in this work is classifying whether a Twitter user has spread Irony and Stereotype or not. We used a text vectorization layer to generate Bag-Of-Words sequences. Then such sequences are passed to three different text classifiers (Decision Tree, Convolutional Neural Network, Naive Bayes). Our final classifier is an SVM. To test and validate our approach we used the dataset provided for the author profiling task organized by PAN@CLEF 2022. Este artículo analiza la representación de la femme fatale en Muerte de un ciclista (Juan Antonio Bardem, 1955) como un recurso sintomático de la disidencia de Bardem respecto a la dictadura franquista. Niniejsze opracowanie dotyczy kobiecego piękna w aspekcie fizycznym w reklamie telewizyjnej i internetowej, a także tożsamości kobiety w popkulturze. Analizowane wizerunki bohaterek wybranych komunikatów zostały podzielone na dwa typy: kobieta zwyczajna (w tym gospodyni domowa i specjalistka) oraz kobieta idealna (w tym aktywistka, kobieta sukcesu oraz zmysłowa). Ukazano także związek schematów istniejących w reklamach z funkcjonującymi w społeczeństwie stereotypami dotyczącymi płci. Ustalono, w jaki sposób poszczególne typy bohaterek są ukazywane w reklamach oraz jakie cechy są kanoniczne dla wizerunku tych kobiet.
