The present study was to investigate whether the mRNA levels of the transcription factors, sterol regulatory element-binding protein-2 (SREBP-2), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-δ (PPARδ) as well as slow type myosin heavy chain (MYH7) gene are modulated after exhaustive exercise and if so, whether such alterations are related to the percentage of MHC isoforms. Existing masonry structures often suffer reductions in mechanical performances due to physiological aging of material constituents, external actions, and effect of catastrophic natural events. In many cases, the prompt prediction of damage in masonry elements is difficult and it can cause sudden collapses, compromising the safety of people. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju rādītāju statistiski nozīmīga saistība strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu grupās. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 respondenti (N=100), vecumā no 17 līdz 55 gadiem, no tiem 60 sievietes un 40 vīrieši. Pētījuma gaitā, respondenti tika iedalīti 2 grupās (katrā grupā 50 respondenti). 50 respondenti, kuri tikai studē un 50 respondenti, kuri studē un strādā. Kā mērinstrumenti tikai izmantota akadēmiskās izdegšanas aptauja studentiem un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja. Respondentiem tika lūgts aizpildīt aptauju elektroniski. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin Jyväskylän yliopiston toisen ja neljännen vuosikurssin opiskelijoiden kokemaa stressiä ja opiskelukuormituksesta palautumista. Tutkimus on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston Student Life -rahoitteista Onko hoppu? (opiskelijoiden Hyvinvointi, Opiskelusta Palautuminen ja Urahallintataidot) -opiskelijatutkimusta. Tavoitteenamme oli tarkastella Student Life -toimintaan osallistuneiden opiskelijoiden stressiä ja opiskelukuormituksesta palautumista. Aim: The aim was to introduce new explanatory construct, namely illegitimate tasks from Stress-as-Offense-to-Self Theory (SOS), to better understand information security behavior (ISB). In addition, more commonly used constructs from Deterrence theory (DT) and Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) were used to explain ISB.
