Mitä oppilaat pitävät varhaisesta A1-kielen opetuksesta ja millainen käsitys heillä on omasta osaamisestaan?

Vuoden 2020 alusta kieltenopiskelu on aloitettu Suomessa vuosiluokalla 1. Opetussuunnitelman perusteissa korostetaan, että opetuksen tulee olla ikätasolle sopivaa ja herättää myönteinen asenne kielenoppimiseen sekä vahvistaa oppilaan pystyvyyttä. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan suomen- ja ruotsinkielisten koulujen oppilaiden asennoitumista ja osaamiskäsityksiä. Tutkimuksen kohteen on englannin kielen (suomenkieliset koulut, n=106) ja suomi toisena kotimaisena kielenä -oppiaineen (ruotsinkieliset koulut, n=86) opiskelu. Tässä tutkielmassa kuvataan, mistä ja miten Aamulehti, Helsingin Sanomat ja Keskisuomalainen kirjoittivat vaalirahoitusta käsittelevissä pääkirjoituksissaan aikavälillä 7.5.2008–17.9.2010. Tutkielmassa kiinnitetään huomiota siihen, mitä aiheita lehdet vaalirahoituksen yhteydessä käsittelivät, keitä toimijoita lehdet nostivat esiin ja mihin lähteisiin nojaten lehdet kirjoittivat pääkirjoituksensa. Tutkielman pääasiallisena tutkimusmenetelmänä on käytetty määrällistä sisällön erittelyä, jonka avulla kirjoitukset on luokiteltu sisältöluokkiin aihe-, toimija- ja lähdeulottuvuuksien mukaan. The investment model (2003) has been widely used in romantic relationship studies but rarely in an intercultural context. This study tests the investment model by examining Finnish-Chinese couples’ self-perceptions of commitment level and relationship maintenance behaviors. A qualitative research method with deductive thematic analysis approach is applied. This study finds that Finnish-Chinese couples have relatively high level of commitment. Background Declining participation rates in health examination surveys may impair the representativeness of surveys and introduce bias into the comparison of results between population groups if participation rates differ between them. Integration of cognitive allocentric information in visuospatial short-term memory through the hippocampus

Visuospatial short-term memory relies on a widely distributed neocortical network: some areas support the encoding process of the visually acquired spatial information, whereas other ares are more involved in the active maintenance of the encoded information. Recently, in a pointing to remembered targets task, it has been shown in healthy subjects that, for memory delays of 5 s, spatial errors are affected also by cognitive allocentric information, i.e., covert spatial information derived from a pure mental representation. Validity of the Finnish version of the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA)

The aim of the present study was to validate the Finnish version of the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA) using data from 1,688 Finnish parents (91\% mothers) living in Finland with at least one child living at home. Confirmatory factor analyses supported the theoretical four-factor structure of the PBA – emotional exhaustion in one’s parental role, contrast with previous parental self, feelings of being fed up with one’s parental role, and emotional distancing from one’s children. Information on dietary adequacy is needed to assess food and nutrition security in a modern society, especially in the transition towards climate-friendly food systems. In this study, differences in the nutritional adequacy of diets among Finnish adults were evaluated in population groups of different education, income and urbanisation levels. The study used data from the FinDiet 2017 Survey (n = 1655, 18–74 years). Pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkoituksena oli selvittää suomalaisen koulutusviennin tekijöitä Varalan Urheiluopiston koulutustoiminnan kansainvälisen suunnittelun tarpeisiin.
