Data and Information Quality Research in Engineering Construction Projects: A Review of Literature

This article presents a review of the research on Data and Information Quality (DQ/IQ) assessment in engineering construction. Through a review of 445 articles on the topic, only nine were found in the context of engineering construction. The analysis of these nine articles revealed six challenges in performing DQ/IQ assessment in this context: the iterative nature of concurrent engineering, the uniqueness of engineering data, lack of integration between processes, lack of integration between systems, lack of timely information, and lack of relevant DQ/IQ assessment frameworks and tools. Eresus kollari (Araneae: Eresidae) calls for heathland management

Northwest Europe’s largest heather-dominated sandy habitats are located in the nature reserve Lu¨neburgerHeide, Germany. Yet, even these appear to be losing their ability to support some of their stenotopic species such as theladybird spider, Eresus kollari Rossi 1846, and are thus becoming increasingly important for the preservation of thesespecies. The habitat requirements of this endangered spider species were investigated in order to obtain data that will helpstabilize the last remnants of the species’ population in northwest Germany. Abstract Simulation is a powerful and universal systems research tool for the analysis of discrete event model's functional quality. The simulation is used very widely in different areas of our everyday life. Simulation system SITA/G is produced in the Latvia University Research Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science. We suggest that a new type of information system appears to be increasing in importance, that of consumer information systems. Compared with traditional information systems development approaches, where the focus is on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational processes, design for consumer information systems focuses more on the enjoyment, pleasure and purchases of the consumer. We argue that the shift in focus from users to consumers in consumer information systems calls for a significant re-appraisal of our current information systems development methods.
