Modal Consequence Relations Extending S4.3: An Application of Projective Unification

We characterize all finitary consequence relations over $\mathbf{S4.3}$ , both syntactically, by exhibiting so-called (admissible) passive rules that extend the given logic, and semantically, by providing suitable strongly adequate classes of algebras. This is achieved by applying an earlier result stating that a modal logic $L$ extending $\mathbf{S4}$ has projective unification if and only if $L$ contains $\mathbf{S4.3}$ . In particular, we show that these consequence relations enjoy the strong finite model property, and are finitely based. Skolen som reformasjonsprosjekt i Norge på 1500–tallet

Artikkelen undersøker latinskolens utvikling i Norge de første 70 årene etter innføringen av reformasjonen. Brudd og kontinuitet med middelalderskolen drøftes. Skiftet av styringsstruktur fra kirken til kongen og embetsverket fremheves som det største bruddet. Til tross for at latinskolen var den viktigste presteutdanningsinstitusjonen på 1500–tallet, ble den ikke en ren kirkeskole. Jeg argumenterer mot oppfatninger om at skolen forandret seg lite, og at reformasjonen virket negativt inn på den. Tvert om viser jeg at latinskolene ble utbygd og fikk stor betydning for implementeringen av selve trosskiftet. Jeg argumenterer også for at skolene i Norge kunne være tjent med sentralstyringen.

The signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) 1 protein plays a key role in the immune response against viruses and other pathogens by transducing, in the nucleus, the signal from type I, type II and type III IFNs. STAT1 activates the transcription of hundreds of genes, some of which have been well characterized for their antiviral properties. STAT1 gene deletion in mice and complete STAT1 deficiency in humans both cause rapid death from severe infections. Resumen: La carga mental es el conjunto de requerimientos mentales, cognitivos o intelectuales a los que se ven sometidos los trabajadores a lo largo de su jornada laboral. El presente estudio pretende conocer la prevalencia de los niveles de carga mental en profesionales de Enfermería de varias unidades de hospitalización de un hospital, así como su relación con el turno de trabajo y otros factores sociodemográficos y laborales. Para ello se ha realizado un estudio cuantitativo de carácter descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. Evolución de la oferta exportable en Santander, Colombia 2000-2012: Un análisis a través del índice Herfindahl Hirschmann

Este documento tuvo como objetivo analizar la evolución de la oferta exportadora de Santander entre el año 2000 y 2012, revisando los patrones de concentración o diversificación. Para ello utilizó como metodología el cálculo del índice de Herfindahl-Hirschmann. Los hallazgos encontrados establecen que la oferta exportable se ha concentrado por lo que las políticas diseñadas para promover la diversificación de producto no han tenido los efectos esperados y es necesario el diseño de nuevos lineamientos para tal fin.
