The medial cortex of lizards is a three-layered brain region displaying cyto- and chemoarchitectonical, connectional, and ontogenetic characteristics that relate it to the hippocampal fascia dentata of mammals. Three interneuron types located in the cell layer and ten others in the inner plexiform layer (six in the juxtasomatic zone and four in the deep zone) are described in this study. The granuloid neurons, web-axon neurons, and deep-fusiform neurons lay within the cell layer. DNA barcoding facilitates many evolutionary and ecological studies, including the examination of the dietary diversity of herbivores. In this study, we present a survey of ecological associations between herbivorous beetles and host plants from seriously threatened European steppic grasslands. We determined host plants for the majority (65%) of steppic leaf beetles (55 species) and weevils (59) known from central Europe using two barcodes (trnL and rbcL) and two sequencing strategies (Sanger for mono/oligophagous species and Illumina for polyphagous taxa). Addition of cyromazine to adult diet affected negatively the development of Ceratitis capitata Wied. (Dipt., Tephritidae) offspring. Five concentrations of cyromazine (0.00001 mg/ml, 0.01 mg/ml, 0.1 mg/ml, 1 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml) have been tested. A reduction of Mediterranean fruit fly populations has been found mainly due to the effects of fertility and larval development. At these concentrations, cyromazine does not affect Ceratitis capitata fecundity.

Šio tyrimo tikslas – palyginti Latvijos paauglių bendrąją ateities orientaciją ir ateities orientacijas specifinėse gyvenimo sferose gyvenant santykinai ekonomiškai stabiliu ir ekonominės krizės laikotarpiu. Simons's researches in the mid-1990s offer an original framework for relations between control and strategy. The imprecision of the model, its vertical orientation focusing on top management were criticized and completed by additional researches. Adopting a transversal and vertical approach focused on middle managers, this research aims to analyze the development of diagnostics systems towards interactivity and brakes to such developments. The article analyzes the results of an intervention research conducted in a third-party logistics which has adopted a new measurement performance system, including its impact on diagnostic control systems used by middle managers.
