INTRODUCCIÓN El cáncer de próstata (CaP) representa el segundo tumor en incidencia en hombres y es la quinta causa de muerte por cáncer a nivel global. El CaP es un tumor hormono-dependiente, que requiere de la activación del receptor de andrógenos (AR) para su proliferación. Clínicamente, se caracteriza por una gran variabilidad en su evolución, progresando desde una condición indolente hasta un fenotipo agresivo que puede diseminarse y metastatizar a los nodos linfáticos y huesos. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada daļas, teorētiskās deļas, pētnieciskās daļas, secinājumiem un ieteikumiem. Bakalaura darba pamatā ir literatūras analīze par prostatas anatomiju un fizioloģiju, prostatas vēzi, magnētiskās rezonanses parametriem, kvalitātes kritērijiem un vadlīnijās norādītajiem protokolu datiem. Abstract Objective Understanding habits may inform intervention development aimed at promoting physical activity maintenance for long-term health. In the present article, I review theory and research on habits applied to physical activity. I provide an overview of contemporary conceptualizations of habit and habit theory; address whether or not physical activity can be habitual; review perspectives on how physical activity habits develop; summarize research on effects of physical activity habits; identify intervention strategies effective in promoting physical activity habits; and propose an agenda for future research on physical activity habits.
