Le attività di ricerca presentate in questo contributo sono state essenzialmente finalizzate al rilievo delle facciate delle due tombe presso la necropoli dell’Acqualta e alla documentazione della porzione ovest del frontone della Tomba occidentale (sinistra), conservato al Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Firenze1275. Durante uno scavo archeologico, molto spesso sorge la necessità della messa in sicurezza, tramite una serie di interventi puntuali mirati alla stabilizzazione dell’integrità strutturale, dei reperti rinvenuti; come nel caso della Casa III M del quartiere Ellenistico Romano di Agrigento, un contesto di crollo in cui sono stati rinvenuti reperti ad intonaco. The documentation, dissemination, and enhancement of Cultural Heritage is of great relevance. To that end, technological tools and interactive solutions (e.g., 3D models) have become increasingly popular. Historical silk fabrics are nearly flat objects, very fragile and with complex internal geometries, related to different weaving techniques and types of yarns. These characteristics make it difficult to properly document them, at the yarn level, with current technologies.
