Sievietes dzemdību laikā jūt spēcīgas sāpes, kas rada vajadzību pēc analgētiskiem līdzekļiem. Epidurālā analgēzija ir droša metode, kas efektīvi mazina dzemdību sāpes un reti izraisa blaknes. Pēdējos gados Latvijā tās pielietojums ir pieaudzis, arī ASV šo procedūru ik gadu izvēlas 60% sieviešu, bet Kanādā - līdz 69% gadījumu. Abstract Background Pathogens evolve in a close antagonistic relationship with their hosts. The conventional theory proposes that evolution of virulence is highly dependent on the efficiency of direct host-to-host transmission. The study explores Finnish mothers' and educators' perceptions on young children's experiences and child-responsive practices related to flexibly-scheduled early childhood education and care (ECEC). Data were gathered by ethnography-based interviews with mothers and educators of oneto three-year-old children attending this form of ECEC and qualitatively analysed using the method of inductive content analysis.
