Cet article montre que cette augmentation a surtout concerné les joueurs originaires d’Afrique et d’Amérique latine. PurposeThe purpose of this study was to analyze variations of selection for competition between late and early mature players and test the relationships between anthropometry, body composition, maturation, and selection for competition.MethodsSeventy-nine youth soccer players from under-11 to under-14 participated in this study, over 6 months. Body composition and maturity offset were estimated based on anthropometric data collected. Bakalaura darba “Vidzemes muižu zemnieku sociālekonomiskais portrets 19. gs. pirmajā pusē: Lielvārdes muižas piemērs” mērķis ir analizēt 19. gadsimta pirmās puses sociālekonomisko un politisko norišu ietekmi uz Vidzemes zemnieku dzīves apstākļiem, par piemēru ņemot Lielvārdes privātmuižu. Darba ietvaros tiek analizēti 18. gadsimta un 19. gadsimta pirmās puses notikumi (zemnieku nemieri, Napoleona kari), Vidzemes muižniecība, tās izdotie likumi, kā arī informācija par Lielvārdes muižas zemniekiem šajā laikā. Darba rezultātā papildināta informācija par šo samērā maz pētīto muižu un analizēti dažādo notikumu, it īpaši dzimtbūšanas atcelšanas, ietekme uz zemnieku stāvokli īstermiņā.

Summary 1. The importance and volume of aquaculture is increasing world-wide. Rearing practices play a key role in determining growth rate, survival and disease resistance in aquaculture fishes. Recent evidence suggests that in comparison with a standard stimulus-poor rearing environment, an enriched or variable rearing environment has significant positive effects on several traits underlying growth and well-being of fish. Abstract Environmentally growing opportunist pathogens are a common threat to human health and food production. Due to environmental growth of the pathogen, these diseases are difficult to control with disinfectants and antibiotics. Thus, there is a need for sustainable and effective control methods against environmentally growing opportunist diseases. Predation is often a major limiting factor in the outside host environment. Here we propose that it could be used in the biological control of these diseases.
