Pētītas esošās un prognozējamās sociālā darba problēmas, tā sistēmiskās un metodiskās attīstības iespējas attiecībā uz šo sociālā darba mērķgrupu. Izmantotas kvalitatīvās pētījuma metodes, īstenojot 17 intervijas. Izvērtēti Eiropas valstu labās prakses piemēri. Proteins play a crucial role in metabolism, in maintaining fluid and acid-base balance and antibody synthesis. Dietary proteins are important nutrients and are classified into: 1) animal proteins (meat, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy), and, 2) plant proteins (legumes, nuts and soy). Dietary modification is one of the most important lifestyle changes that has been shown to significantly decrease the risk of cardiovascular (CV) disease (CVD) by attenuating related risk factors. The CVD burden is reduced by optimum diet through replacement of unprocessed meat with low saturated fat, animal proteins and plant proteins. Goals and guesses as reference points: a field experiment on student performance

In this paper, we study overconfidence and goal-setting in academic performance, with and without monetary incentives. Students enrolled in a microeconomics course were offered the possibility of setting their own target grade before taking part in the final exam. They were also asked to guess their grade immediately after they had taken the exam (“post-diction”). In general, students overestimated their performance, both at the goal-setting and at the post-diction stages. Maģistra darba mērķis bija pētīt 2. tipa cukura diabēta ārstēšanu un terapijā izmantoto perorālo medikamentu apriti SIA “Jelgavas Pils aptieka” Pils aptiekā no 2016. gada 1. janvāra līdz 2017. gada 31. decembrim un noskaidrot aptiekas klientu informētību par 2. tipa cukura diabētu. Maģistra darbā aprakstīti 2. tipa cukura diabēta saslimšanas riska faktori, simptomi, komplikācijas un diagnostika, kā arī Latvijā pieejamās monoterapijas un kombinēto medikamentu grupas slimības ārstēšanai. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka visbiežāk pacientiem izrakstītā monoterapijas medikamentu grupa bija biguanīdu grupa un sulfonilurīnvielas grupa. 2.tipa cukura diabēts ir izplatīta slimība kā Latvijā tā pasaulē un saslimstība tāpat kā šīs slimības medikamentu patēriņš tikai pieaug. Maģistra darba mērķis bija pētīt 2.tipa cukura diabēta medikamentu apgrozījumu aptiekā, Lubānā, laika periodā no 2017.gadam līdz 2019.gadam. Darbā aprakstīts 2. tipa cukura diabēts tā saslimšanas riska faktori, simptomi, komplikācijas diagnostika un slimības ārstēšana. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka biežāk pirktie medikamenti aptiekā, Lubānā, ir biguanīdu grupas preparāti. Vislielākā aprite divu gadu laikā ir bijusi metformīnam “Glucophage XR 1000mg N60”.
