Effects of economic variables on NPLs depending on the economic cycle. Empirical Economics

Late payments are a major problem for Spanish banks. This paper studies as determinants of loan delinquency: unemployment, interest rates, inflation, housing prices, leverage, bad debt coverage and solvency, which were the main problems facing the Spanish economy between 2004 and 2015, and also examines these determinants in periods of growth and recession. The results show that the price of housing, bad debt coverage, interest rates and solvency are the variables with the greatest impact on NPLs. Furthermore, differences exist in the behaviour of variables during periods of growth compared with periods of recession. Inertia of the dependent variable has also been detected.
Density functional study of two-dimensionalHe4clusters

Binding energies and density profiles of two-dimensional systems of liquid He-4 with different geometries are studied by means of a zero-range density functional adjusted to reproduce the line tension obtained in a previous diffusion Monte Carlo calculation (lambda_{DMC}=0.121 K/A). It is shown that this density functional provides accurate results for the binding energy of large clusters with a reasonable computational effort.

Thermal energy storage is one of the most important methods of demand-side load management, thanks to the capacity of reducing significantly the peak power demand for air conditioning in buildings. Our phase-one prospective study wants to evaluate the safety and tolerability of TECAR therapy in the treatment of Peyronie’s disease. From June 2011 to September 2012 we enrolled 70 patients. Each patient had been previously subjected to andrological examination, to a questionnaire for the evaluation of IPP and ED, and the SF-36 (V1) for the evaluation of the general state of health. The evaluation of pain was made using the VAS scale of pain. Introduzione. Con lo scopo di valutare la TECAR terapia quale nuovo possibile trattamento medico della malattia di La Peyronie (PD), abbiamo condotto uno studio di fase uno senza placebo né gruppo di controllo. La TECAR terapia si basa sull’utilizzo di radiofrequenze in grado di trasferire energia ai tessuti trattati causando movimenti ionici. Ciò provoca una stimolazione cellulare in senso replicativo e riparativo.
