Lidar detection of carbon dioxide in volcanic plumes

Volcanic gases give information on magmatic processes. In particular, anomalous releases of carbon dioxide precede volcanic eruptions. Up to now, this gas has been measured in volcanic plumes with conventional measurements that imply the severe risks of local sampling and can last many hours. For these reasons and for the great advantages of laser sensing, the thorough development of volcanic lidar has been undertaken at the Diagnostics and Metrology Laboratory (UTAPRAD-DIM) of the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA). Fundamental contribution to filling out the condition reports of the work of arts involved in temporary exhibitions is provided by non-invasive investigation techniques. Investigation, carried out before and after the movement, allow to collect objective data to monitoring the surface or structural alterations and defining the state of conservation, representing an important moment of deepening of knowledge. Generally, these aspects often are left to photographic documentation and observations by conservators and curators. Psychological contract profiles among permanent and temporary agency workers

Purpose– Based on the psychological contract (PC) theory, the purpose of this paper is to identify PC profiles, differentiating between permanent and temporary agency workers (TAW). Moreover, the authors analyzed whether different profiles presented different levels of work engagement.Design/methodology/approach– A cross-sectional survey data analysis of 2,867 workers, of whom 1,046 were TAW, was analyzed using latent profile analyses.Findings– Four PC profiles were identified, which differed quantitatively in terms of the overall dimension levels (i.e. balanced, relational and transactional) for PC (i.e. content and fulfillment). Darbā ir apkopota informācija par ekstemporāli pagatavotām zālēm, aptieku vēsturi Rīgā un Daugavpilī, zāļu formām un ievadīšanas veidiem. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izpētīt ekstemporālo zāļu formu aktualitāti, salīdzināt ekstemporālo zāļu formu pieprasījumu divās aptiekās Rīgā un Daugavpilī 2014. gadā un izpētīt ekstemporālo zāļu formas trūkumus un priekšrocības. Pētījuma metodes: pacientu, ārstu un farmaceitu anketēšana, Rīgas un Daugavpils aptiekas datu salīdzināšana par saņemtajām ekstemporāli pagatavojamām receptēm 2014. gadā.
