Thrombolysis Followed by Apixaban for Massive Pulmonary Embolism and Free-floating Thrombus in Right Ventricle in a Patient with Breast Cancer

Free-floating thrombus in the right ventricle, associated with a massive acute pulmonary embolism (PE), is a rare phenomenon. PE is an important clinical entity with considerable mortality despite advances in diagnosis and treatment. The prognosis of PE depends on right ventricular dysfunction, myocardial injury markers, and early treatment. In this report, we present the case of a 71-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer admitted to intensive care unit for PE complicated by syncope. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin, miten lastensuojelun avohuollon sosiaalityöntekijöiden tieto ja osaaminen muodostuvat heidän perehtyessään työhönsä; miten he saavat tietoa perehtyessään työhönsä; mitä tietoa he saavat ja miten he kokevat tiedon saannin työhön perehtymisessä. Lastensuojelun työ on vaativaa ja työntekijöiden osaamiseen tulee panostaa jo alkuvaiheessa työn laadukkuuden ja työntekijöiden työssä jaksamisen kannalta. Tutkimusaineisto koostui kahdeksasta lastensuojelun avohuollon sosiaalityöntekijän avoimesta yksilöhaastattelusta. Tulokset analysoitiin laadullisen sisällönanalyysin keinoin. We consider a time-non-homogeneous double-ended queue subject to catastrophes and repairs. The catastrophes occur according to a non-homogeneous Poisson process and lead the system into a state of failure. Instantaneously, the system is put under repair, such that repair time is governed by a time-varying intensity function. We analyze the transient and the asymptotic behavior of the queueing system. The aim of this study is to investigate differences in the amount (the occurrence rate) of second language (L2) traits at different proficiency levels in spoken L2 Finland-Swedish. In the analysis, we focus on L2 features in segments, segment lengths, word stress and sentence stress. Further, we analyze the ability to produce speech and the complexity of production at different proficiency levels: the amount of speech, token length, token structure and speech rate. Tutkimus tarkastelee suomi toisena kielenä -opetusta varhaiskasvatusympäristössä. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisena S2-opetus ja sen toteuttaminen nähdään sekä millaista ammatillista osaamista ja pätevyyttä opetuksen toteuttamiseen liitetään. Tutkimus toteutettiin keskisuuressa Etelä-Suomen kaupungissa. Tutkimuskohteina oli kolme kunnallista päiväkotia, joissa jokaisessa oli S2-opetuksen alaisuudessa olevia lapsia. Yhteensä tutkimukseen osallistui kuusi varhaiskasvattajaa ja aineisto kerättiin haastattelemalla. Haastattelu toteutettiin parihaastatteluna teemahaastattelun muodossa. Measurement of the top quark charge in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

A measurement of the top quark electric charge is carried out in the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider using 2.05 fb[superscript −1] of data at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. In units of the elementary electric charge, the top quark charge is determined to be 0.64 ± 0.02 (stat.) ± 0.08 (syst.) from the charges of the top quark decay products in single lepton t[¯ over t] candidate events. This excludes models that propose a heavy quark of electric charge −4/3, instead of the Standard Model top quark, with a significance of more than 8σ.
