Carnival stands not only for the festive time set by the religious calendar, but also for all games and shows which are part of the urban pop culture. Theoretical reflection on carnivalisation, i.e. a specific model of participation in culture, was initiated by Mikhail Bakhtin. The process of progressive carnivalisation of the urban space is associated with the development of spectator folklorism on the one hand and desementisation of the folk rituals on the other, i.e. with the expansion of festive events, which create common festive activity. Pasaulē ļoti strauji pieaug 2.tipa diabēta pacientu skaits. 2.tipa diabēta gadījumā ķermenis nav spējīgs izmantot insulīnu tā kā tas ir nepieciešams. Organismam ir sākusies insulīna rezistence. Slimības sākumā ķermenis cīnās ar šo slimību un ražo papildus insulīnu, bet ar laiku tas vairs nav iespējams un asinīs glikozes līmenis paaugstinās. Daži pacienti var kontrolēt glikozes līmeni ar veselīgu dzīves veidu un diētu, bet ir pacienti kuriem nepieciešams papildus terapijā lietot arī pretdiabēta līdzekļus. Antecedentes: El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el crecimiento económico, la productividad y sus determinantes en cinco países de América Latina (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia y México) durante el periodo 1990-2010. Este análisis se aplica tanto a la economía agregada como a nueve sectores de actividad económica. Returns To Education During And After The Economic Crisis: Evidence From Latvia 2006–2012

We employ EU-SILC micro data for Latvia to study how returns to education changed during the economic crisis of 2008–2009 and afterwards. We found that returns to education increased significantly during the crisis and decreased slightly during the subsequent economic recovery. The counter-cyclical effect was evident in nearly all population groups. After the crisis, education became more associated than before with a longer working week and a higher employment probability.
