Abstract. Southern Asia, extending from Pakistan and Afghanistan to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, is one of the most heavily populated regions of the world. Biofuel and biomass burning play a disproportionately large role in the emissions of most key pollutant gases and aerosols there, in contrast to much of the rest of the Northern Hemisphere, where fossil fuel burning and industrial processes tend to dominate. This results in polluted air masses which are enriched in carbon-containing aerosols, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kas ir nepieciešams projekta plāna izstrādei mācīšanās platformas ieviešanai izglītības iestādē. Teorētiski pētnieciskajā daļā tiek apskatīta mācīšanās platformas definīcija, saistošie normatīvie akti, nepieciešamā datortehnika un projekta plāns ieviešot mācīšanās platformu izglītības iestādē. Darba praktiski pētnieciskās daļas ietvaros tika izstrādāts un ieviests projekta plāns izglītības iestādei X. Self-concept is widely conceptualized as multidimensional (Shavelson et al., 1976). The Five-Factor Self-Concept Questionnaire (AF5, Garcia and Musitu, 2009) assesses five specific dimensions (i.e., academic, social, emotional, family, and physical). It is a psychometrically sound questionnaire, developed, and normed in Spain, which is widely used with Spanish-speaking samples. Background. Balance is among the most important prerequisites for safe and independent mobility. Whether musculoskeletal pain is related to standing balance impairment has received limited attention. The aim of this study was to examine the association of musculoskeletal pain with the control of balance in older people. Methods. A total of 605 participants aged 75 years and older (mean age 80.4, 71 % women) were interviewed about presence and severity of musculoskeletal pain.
