The teaching of foreign languages to students in Translation and Interpreting (TI) programmes should be framed within the field of Language for Specific Purposes (LSP). This would make it possible to pinpoint specific curricular content and methodological traits that contribute to the enhancement of the communicative competence and initial development of TI competences. "Vad säger SFP-mannen?" : jämförelse av tilltal mellan ett finskt- och ett svenskspråkigt debattprogram

Tutkielman tavoitteena oli selvittää onko suomenkielisen ja suomenruotsalaisen keskusteluohjelman puhuttelutavoissa eroja. Tarkastelun kohteena olivat etenkin teitittely ja sinuttelu, haastateltavien nimien ja titteleiden käyttö sekä iän ja sukupuolen vaikutus puhutteluun. Tutkielmassa keskityttiin havainnoimaan juontajien puhuttelutapoja, kun he haastattelivat vieraita studiossa. Tutkimuksen materiaali kerättiin vuoden 2015 lopussa sekä vuoden 2016 alussa havainnoimalla neljä jaksoa suomenkielistä A-studiota ja neljä jaksoa ruotsinkielistä Obs Debatia.
