Formation structure of optimality by thermoeconomics: disassembling thermodynamic and external influences in energy systems’ design

In this paper an original thermoeconomic approach for the optimization of complex energy systems is presented, based on a revitalized concept of “scope”, and therefore indicated as Scope Oriented Thermoeconomics (SOT). In plants including dissipative components, it allows to formulate non-arbitrary allocation criteria as concerns marginal costs; consequently, the optimization process is disassembled to recognize the Formation Structure of Optimality, i.e. the specific influences of thermodynamic and economic parameters in the path toward the optimal design. Synthesis, antiproliferative activity, and in silico insights of new 3-benzoylamino-benzo[ b ]thiophene derivatives

A new series of 3-benzoylamino-5-imidazol-5-yl-benzo[b]thiophenes and the parent amino derivatives were synthesized and screened as antitumor agents. All tested compounds showed concentration-dependent antiproliferative activity profile against HeLa cell line, exhibiting GI50 values in the low micromolar range. The most active compounds were tested in cell cycle perturbation experiments. A rapid accumulation of cells in the G2/M phase, with a concomitant reduction of cells in both the S and G0/G1 phases, was observed, suggesting that cell exposure to selected derivatives produces mitotic failure. Darbā ir aplūkoti divu tipu ekstrēmu uzdevumi saistībā ar kastēm: klasiskā tipa uzdevums par kastes tilpuma maksimizāciju, pastāvot zināmiem ierobežojumiem, un kombinatoriskās ģeometrijas uzdevums par kvadrātveida kastes maksimālo aizpildījumu jeb blīvāko pakojumu ar uzdota veida figūrām. Uzdevumu risināšanā un grafisku attēlu iegūšanā izmantotas gan iebūvētās funkcijas programmu paketē MATLAB R2015a, gan arī izstrādāts programmas kods, kas paredzēts tetramino N pakošanas problēmas risināšanai.

Regularizācijas filtru salīdzinošā analīze 3D konstrukciju topoloģijas optimizācijai

Darbs ir veltīts topoloģijas optimizācijas izpētei un tās regulējošo filtru salīdzinošai analīzei, izmantojot 3D konstrukcijas. Darbā tiek apskatīti divi filtri – jūtīguma filtrs un Gausa filtrs. Ar matemātiskām metodēm tiek aprēķinātas filtru rādītās izmaiņas konstrukcijā, ja tiek mainīti filtru parametri. Darba galvenais mērķis ir izpētīt šos divus filtrus un veikt to salīdzinošo analīzi, vērtējot filtru darbības precizitāti, rēķināšanas laiku un mērķa funkcijas minimālās vērtības. Darbā tiek apskatīti vairāki 3D konstrukciju piemēri, piemēram, Rīgas dzelzceļa tilts. Transnacionālas ģimenes bērna viktimizācija saistībā ar bērna - aprūpetāja savstarpējo attiecību kvalitāti

Maģistra darba mērķis bija pētīt saistību starp transnacionālas ģimenes bērna viktimizācijas rādītājiem un bērna-aprūpētāja savstarpējo attiecību kvalitāti. Pētījumā piedalījās 304 bērni, vecumā no 11 līdz 18 gadiem. No tiem 34 bija no transnacionālām ģimenēm. Pētījuma dalībnieki aizpildīja šādas aptaujas: Bērnības traumas aptauja, Olveusa pāridarītāju/upuru aptauja. Galvenie secinājumi ir šādi: Bērna-aprūpētāja attiecību kvalitāte ir negatīvi saistīta ar pusaudžu viktimizāciju un vardarbīgu uzvedību. Bērna-aprūpētāja attiecību kvalitāte ir tendenču līmenī saistīta ar transnacionālo ģimeņu pusaudžu viktimizāciju. Viktimizāciju nozīmīgi prognozē bērnu-aprūpētāju attiecību kvalitāte. Vardarbī…
