Different trophic positions among social vespid species revealed by stable isotopes

The social vespid wasps are common insect predators and several species behave in unison in the same biotopes. It is commonly accepted that social wasps are mainly opportunistic generalist predators without differences in prey selection and hence they compete for the same food resources. Trophic positions of six vespid wasp species and their potential prey from four sites in Finland and one in the UK were evaluated using carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes (δ13C and δ15N). The difference in isotope values indicated different trophic positions among species. Eutrophication and rising water temperature in freshwaters may increase the total production of a lake while simultaneously reducing the nutritional quality of food web components. We evaluated how cyanobacteria blooms, driven by agricultural eutrophication (in eutrophic Lake Köyliöjärvi) or global warming (in mesotrophic Lake Pyhäjärvi), influence the biomass and structure of phytoplankton, zooplankton, and fish communities. ¿A qué barreras se enfrentan hoy las pymes en el mercado de las licitaciones públicas internacionacionales?

El objetivo de este trabajo es contribuir a la escasa investigación existente sobre el acceso de las empresas españolas al mercado de las licitaciones públicas internacionales analizando, en particular, los problemas que encuentran las pymes. Se identifican y analizan las 21 barreras a las que estas se enfrentan en el mercado de las licitaciones públicas internacionales clasificadas en función de su origen: unas determinadas por la propia Administración y por el país de la licitación, denominadas barreras externas y otras debidas a las capacidades, recursos y habilidades de las pymes, denominadas internas. El análisis teórico se complementa con un estudio cualitativo de empresas españolas.

[EN] In this study, we focus on the case of Spanish energy policy and its implications for sustainable energy development. In recent years, Spanish legislation has changed dramatically in its approach to sustainable energy sources. This change is despite EU and international efforts to increase energy efficiency, and to accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources (RES) in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Promoting Admiration of Foucault Hiding his Defense of Rape and Pederasty

Foucault has been quoted as a great intellectual contributor to feminism and education, despite his defense of decriminalizing rape and pederasty. Since the MeToo movement, there is an increasing criticism of Foucault’s persona and works. However, in order to avoid recognizing their mistake, some authors say that Foucault’s defense of sexual violence was unknown before. This article shows this is not backed by evidence. Data was collected via interviews with 19 subjects with diverse profiles, employing the communicative methodology. Shinchan a l'aula d'infantil: una experiència d'interculturalitat

La present comunicació dóna compte d'una investigació duta a terme a una aula d'Educació Infantil (5 anys) al Col·legi Santa Anna del municipi de Llíria, a València. En aquesta investigació es pretenia avaluar el grau de comprensió del grup-classe dels elements propis de la cultura japonesa que apareixien en un capítol de dibuixos animats de la popular sèrie Crayon Shin-chan. Les conclusions d'aquesta experiència si bé, ens porten a posar en dubte la capacitat de comprensió dels elements culturals de manera correcta, si que ens donen a entendre que l'alumnat d'Infantil és capaç de detectar signes d'una cultura diferent.
