Ņemot vērā intensīvo pārbūves un restaurācijas darbu norisi, kas bieži maina ēkas vēsturisko izmantošanas veidu, kā arī to struktūru un tehnisko stāvokli, darba autore kā pētījumu izvēlējusies “Celtniecības un apdares materiālu izvēle interjera veidošanai vēsturiskā ēkā”. Darba mērķis ir izstrādāt viesnīcas interjera projektu vēsturiskā ēkā, izvēloties tam laikam atbilstošus celtniecības un apdares materiālus vēsturisko un māksliniecisko vērtību saglabāšanai. Pamatojoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem, izstrādāts interjera projekts.
Circular Economy and Value Creation: Sustainable Finance with a Real Options Approach

This paper presents a methodological proposal that integrates the circular economy concept and financial valuation through real options analysis. The Value Hill model of a circular economy provides a representation of the course followed by the value of an asset. Specifically, after the primary use, the life of an asset may be extended by going through four phases: the 4R phases (Reuse, Refurbish, Remanufacture and Recycle). Financial valuation allows us to quantify value creation from firms’ asset circularity under uncertainty, modelled by binomial trees. This paper aimed at investigating if the application of biochar (BC) to desert sand (DS) from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), characterized by a very poor soil-water retention (SWR) and by a very low value of the maximum water available for crops (AWmax), could positively affect soil water balance, by reducing the irrigation needs (VIRR) and improving the irrigation water use efficiency (IWUE) and the water use efficiency (WUE). On relation between J-integral and heat energy dissipation at the crack tip in stainless steel specimens

In this paper, an experimental procedure to evaluate the elastic-plastic J-integral at the tip of a fatigue crack is presented. According to this new approach, the elastic component of the J-integral is derived from Thermoelastic Stress Analysis, while the plastic component of the J-integral is derived from the heat energy loss. An analytical link is proposed to apply this new experimental technique. Therefore, the elastic-plastic J-integral range was evaluated starting from infrared temperature maps measured in situ during crack propagation tests of AISI 304L stainless steel specimens. Knēvenāgela kondensācijas kinētika jonu šķidrumos. Ūdris N., zinātniskā vadītāja Mag. ķīm. Priede E. Kursa darbs 20 lappuses, 6 attēli, 5 tabulas, 12 literatūras avoti. Latviešu valodā. Darbā veikta četru jonu šķidrumu sintēze un attīrīšana, izmantojot dažādas metodes. Visiem sintezētajiem jonu šķidrumiem tika veikti Knēvenāgela kondensācijas kinētikas pētījumi, izmantojot jonu šķidrumu kā reakcijas vidi. Visiem jonu šķidrumam tika noteikta reakcijas ātruma konstante.
