Zālāju biotopu ekoloģiskās atjaunošanas metožu efektivitāte īstermiņā: projekta GrassLIFE piemērs

Dabisko zālāju skaits Latvijā ir neliels, tāpēc nepieciešams tos aizsargāt un atjaunot. LIFE programmas projekta GrassLIFE: Zālāju atjaunošana un to dažādas izmantošanas veicināšana (LIFE16NAT/LV/000262, 2017–2023) ietvaros tiek veikti zālāju ekoloģiskās atjaunošanas un uzturēšanas darbi, kuru rezultāti tiek noteikti veicot veģetācijas monitoringu. Dažādu zālāju ekoloģiskās atjaunošanas metožu efektivitātes novērtējums ir svarīgs, lai dažādās teritorijās būtu iespējams noteikt potenciāli visizdevīgāko ekoloģiskās atjaunošanas metodi. This paper describes an interactive storytelling system, accessible through the SoftBank robotic platforms NAO and Pepper. The main contribution consists of the interpretation of the story characters by humanoid robots, obtained through the definition of appropriate cognitive models, relying on the ACT-R cognitive architecture. The reasoning processes leading to the story evolution are based on the represented knowledge and the suggestions of the listener in critical points of the story. Ecology of the glacial relict macrocrustacean Gammaracanthus lacustris, a rare inhabitant of deep Fennoscandian lakes, is poorly understood. We studied the life cycle and trophic position of this cold‐stenothermic amphipod in Lake Paasivesi, eastern Finland. The study is based on intensive sampling and analyses of fatty acid composition as well as stable carbon (δ13C) and nitrogen (δ15N) isotope ratios. Both day and night, the G. lacustris population occurred at depths below 25 m at temperatures 40 mm and live up to 4 years. Building sustainable contextual ambidexterity through routines: a case study from information technology firms

The purpose of this paper is to explain the role that routines play in achieving sustainable organisational ambidexterity in information technology (IT) firms. Our exploratory analysis of four case studies reveals the key importance of routines in setting the context for sustainable ambidexterity. Companies build up contextual ambidexterity through routines derived from normalization of processes, normalization of skills, and normalization of results. Kontrastjutības izmaiņas dažādos fona spožuma līmeņos kataraktas pacientiem

Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 32 lapām. Darbs sastāv no ievada, teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas. Darbs satur 18 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 29 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: izvērtēt kontrastredzes jutību pacientiem ar kataraktu un bez kataraktas pie dažādiem fona līmeņiem. Metode un dalībnieki: pētījumā piedalījās divas dalībnieku grupas – 36, cilvēki kuriem dignosticēta kataraka, un 16 cilvēku kontrolgurpa, kuru vidējais vecums ir 51 gads un nav novērotas nekādas acu saslimšanas.
