Static hedging of complicated payoff structures by standard instruments becomes increasingly popular in finance. The classical approach is developed for quite regular functions, while for less regular cases, generalized functions and approximation arguments are used. In this note, we discuss the regularity conditions in the classical decomposition formula due to P. Carr and D. Madan (in Jarrow ed, Volatility, pp. 417–427, Risk Publ., London, 1998) if the integrals in this formula are interpreted as Lebesgue integrals with respect to the Lebesgue measure. Biomasas koģenerācijas sistēmas ir labs risinājums videi draudzīgākas enerģijas (siltuma un elektrības) ražošanā, tomēr biomasas sadedzināšanas rezultātā rodas ievērojams daudzums pelnu un bioogle, kas pārsvarā tiek apglabāti poligonos kā atkritumi. Maģistra darba mērķis – analizēt biomasas koģenerācijas staciju koksnes vieglo pelnu un bioogles sastāvu, īpašības, tajā skaitā toksicitāti, ietekmi uz augu attīstību, kā arī izvērtēt izmantošanas iespējas lauksaimniecībā. Rezultāti liecina, ka vieglie pelni un bioogle, nepārsniedzot noteiktu koncentrācijas līmeni, veicina sēklu dīgtspēju, augu augšanu, biomasas pieaugumu un nodrošina labu sakņu attīstību. Value Co-Creation and Co-Destruction in Online Video Games : An Exploratory Study and Implications for Future Research

In this empirical study we studied how players of online video games co-create and co-destroy value. From players’ perceptions we identified that value co-creation and co-destruction occur amid themes of giving feedback and building relations. Feedback encourages players but it may also be harmful in the form of verbal abuse. Building relations relates to making friends in general but also on an international level. Sustainability Window is a new analysis tool for assessing the sustainability of development simultaneously in all of its three dimensions (environmental, economic, and social). The analysis method provides information of the maximum and minimum economic development that is required to maintain the direction of social and environmental development towards more sustainable targets.
