Mediante análisis cinemático y utilizando como muestra a lanzadores agrupados en función de
 la marca conseguida (grupo internacional: atletas con marca superior a los 80 metros; y grupo
 nacional: atletas con marca inferior a 80 metros) el objetivo del estudio se centró en determinar si
 alguno de los parámetros utilizados para evaluar la eficacia del gesto establece diferencias entre
 uno y otro grupo de lanzadores.

Thermal aggregation of bovine serum albumin at different pH: comparison with human serum albumin.

We report here a study on thermal aggregation of BSA at two different pH values selected to be close to the isoelectric point (pI) of this protein. Our aim is to better understand the several steps and mechanisms accompanying the aggregation process. For this purpose we have performed kinetics of integrated intensity emission of intrinsic and extrinsic dyes, tryptophans and ANS respectively, kinetics of Rayleigh scattering and of turbidity. Hydromechanical behaviour of a volcanic ash

This paper presents experimental analysis and numerical modelling aimed at improved understanding and prediction of the hydromechanical behaviour of volcanic ash at various states of saturation. Results from a comprehensive experimental programme are presented in order to characterise the response of the material in terms of matric suction and confining stress changes. The evolution of the yield stress at different suction levels has been quantified. The volumetric response with suction variations allowed the analysis of the collapse-upon-wetting behaviour. Abstract The influence of the wooden equipment used for the traditional cheese manufacturing from raw milk was evaluated on the variations of chemico-physical characteristics and microbial populations during the ripening of Caciocavallo Palermitano cheese. Milk from two farms (A, extensive; B, intensive) was processed in traditional and standard conditions. A factory-scale application of secondary adjunct cultures selected from lactin acid becteria during Puzzone di Moena cheese ripening

The lactic acid populations of 2 seasonal Puzzone di Moena cheeses made from winter and summer raw cow's milk were characterized at different ripening times. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) were isolated on selective media and subjected to genetic typing and identification. The species most frequently found during ripening were Lactobacillus paracasei ssp. paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Pediococcus pentosaceus.
