Contribución al conocimiento de la secuencia arqueológica y el hábitat del Holoceno inicial en el Maestrazgo

Se presenta el estudio de un total de cinco yacimientos localizados en el tramo superior del Riu de les Coces (Alt Maestral, Castellón). Partiendo de los problemas derivados de la naturaleza de la información manejada se aborda su contextualización en el marco de la secuencia arqueológica y del hábitat del Holoceno inicial en el Maestrazgo y en el contexto regional. Los resultados obtenidos permiten por un lado, relativizar la idea de una secuencia local continua e ininterrumpida desde el Magdaleniense superior hasta el Mesolítico Reciente, y por otro. la sucesión de dos modelos diferentes de ocupación del territorio.

How Geography and Climate Shaped the Genomic Diversity of Italian Local Cattle and Sheep Breeds

International audience; Understanding the relationships among geography, climate, and genetics is increasingly important for animal farming and breeding. In this study, we examine these inter-relationships in the context of local cattle and sheep breeds distributed along the Italian territory. To this aim, we used redundancy analysis on genomic data from previous projects combined with geographical coordinates and corresponding climatic data. The effect of geographic factors (latitude and longitude) was more important in sheep (26.4%) than that in cattle (13.8%). Zbadano aktywność katalityczną oktakarboksyftalocyjaniny kobaltu (CoPcOC), żelaza (FePcOC) i miedzi (CuPcOC) w aerobowym utlenianiu 2-tioetanolu, siarczku sodu i L-cysteiny. Kompleksy kobaltu i żelaza okazały się efektywnymi katalizatorami homofazowymi tych reakcji. Na aktywność katalityczną wpływ mają takie czynniki, jak rodzaj skompleksowanego metalu, pH, asocjacja ftalocyjanin w roztworze.

Fibre fragment distribution in a single-fibre composite tension test

Abstract Single fibre fragmentation tests are performed for brittle fibres with Weibull strength distribution and different surface treatments. The fragmentation process is modelled and closed-form expressions for break spacing distribution are obtained. The model accounts for the effect of finite fibre length on the initial fragmentation as well as for break interaction on the advanced fragmentation stage. It is assumed that the exclusion zone due to fibre–matrix interface failure and stress recovery in the fibre is linearly dependent on the applied load. This assumption is validated experimentally.
