Studies of Nature of Uncommon Bifurcated I–I···(I–M) Metal-Involving Noncovalent Interaction in Palladium(II) and Platinum(II) Isocyanide Cocrystals

Two isostructural trans-[MI2(CNXyl)2]·I2 (M = Pd or Pt; CNXyl = 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide) metallopolymeric cocrystals containing uncommon bifurcated iodine···(metal–iodide) contact were obtained. In addition to classical halogen bonding, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed a rare type of metal-involved stabilizing contact in both cocrystals. The nature of the noncovalent contact was studied computationally (via DFT, electrostatic surface potential, electron localization function, quantum theory of atoms in molecules, and noncovalent interactions plot methods). Pašnovērtētie panikas simptomi un uztvertā ģimenes psiholoģiskā vide pusaudžiem ar bērnības vardarbības pieredzi

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, vai pašnovērtētiem panikas simptomiem ir saistības ar bērnības vardarbības pieredzi un vai panikas simptomu izteiktību izskaidro uztvertā ģimenes psiholoģiskā vide. Pētījuma izlasi veidoja 81 pusaudzis, vecumā no 12 līdz 16 gadiem (M=14,9, SD=1,38), 60 meitenes un 21 zēns, kuri internetā anonīmi aizpildīja izveidoto aptauju. Pētījumā tika izmantota Ģimenes klimata skala (Family Environment Scale, FES), Bērnības vardarbības pieredzes aptauja (Childhood Abuse History Questionnaire (CAHQ) un Panikas traucējuma smaguma skala (Panic Disorder Severity Scale). Journal article The dimeric complex [MnIII2(Naphth-sao)2(Naphth-saoH)2(MeOH)2][middle dot]4MeOH (1[middle dot]4MeOH), acts as a simple model complex with which to examine the magneto-structural relationship in polymetallic, oxime-bridged MnIII complexes. Dc magnetic susceptibility studies reveal that ferromagnetic exchange is mediated through the heavily twisted Mn-O-N-Mn moiety (J = +1.24 cm-1) with magnetisation measurements at low temperatures and high fields suggesting significant anisotropy. The mental health of young adults, particularly students, is at high risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to examine differences in mental health between university students in nine countries during the pandemic. The study encompassed 2349 university students (69% female) from Colombia, the Czech Republic (Czechia), Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot kādas saistības pastāv starp depresijas simptomiem un darba atmiņu. Šī darba teorētiskajā daļā tika apkopota informācija par depresijas saistībām ar darba atmiņu. Pētījuma izlase sastāv no vispārējās populācijas (N=171). The Relationship between Minority Stress and Depressive Symptoms in the LGBTQA Population from Poland

The cross-sectional study examines minority stress and depression symptoms regarding various sexual and gender minority (SGM) identities in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and asexual (LGBTQA) individuals from Poland. The online survey was conducted among 509 people. Participants aged between 18 and 47 (M = 22.39, SD = 4.78). Gender identity included 262 cisgender women, 74 cisgender men, 31 transgender women, 53 transgender men, and 89 nonbinary individuals. Sexual identity comprises 197 bisexual, 150 homosexual, 78 pansexual, 33 asexual, 21 undefined, 14 heterosexual, 9 demisexuals, 6 queer, and 1 sapiosexual individual.
