Monitoring Torque teno virus (TTV) DNA load helps to estimate the risk of opportunistic infections in solid organ transplant recipients. We investigated whether the early kinetic pattern of plasma TTV DNA load after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) associates with subsequent CMV and EBV DNAemia. This study included 71 allo-HSCT patients. El torque teno virus (TTV), es un virus de pequeño tamaño de ADN de cadena sencilla, desnudo y capsulado perteneciente a la familia Anelloviridae con una prevalencia aproximada del 95% independiente del sexo y del estado socioeconómico y cuya carga plasmática está relacionada con la funcionalidad del sistema inmune y por tanto puede ser útil para evaluar el riesgo de eventos adversos relacionados con la inmunosupresión.
