HOW WELL DOES BRAND PERSONALITY PREDICT BRAND CHOICE? A MEASUREMENT SCALE AND ANALYSIS USING BINARY REGRESSION MODELS

The research proposes a methodology allowing both the construction of a brand personality scale and the test of the ability of the scale to predict brand choice. A brand personality scale is developed and tested via exploratory and confirmatory analyses. A brand personality structure composed of 12 facets is uncovered and allows clearly differentiating brands belonging to the same market. Predictive power of the scale is then tested using binary regression models.

The paper analyses the budget of the seven French trade union confederations (CGT, CFDT, FO, CFTC, CGC, and USS UNSA). Since 2011, these organizations are obliged to publish their budgets according to the principle of transparency. The main purpose was to give the members' dues the higher weight in the total of the trade union budgets. Each organization has defined its reporting entity in terms of this issue. They did "derive" at the federal level the maximum members' contributions - even when these contributions were not intended to the federal level - and they housed most grants and subsidies in satellites outside their perimeter. In 1948, the tripartition of french trade-unionism finds his international foundation again : the CGT is affiliated to the WFTU, the CFTC to the ICCTU and FO to the ICFTU. The use of open-graded mixes increases significantly the hydraulic permeability of pavement and contributes to reduce the noise impact in comparison to traditional pavement. Such characteristics are very appealing and would greatly increase driver's safety. However, during service life, the pores tend to be clogged by many factors among them secondary traffic compaction and filling of voids by fine materials are relevant, especially on heavy routes.
