Pedestrians are important users of the transportation system, but most guidelines have given them little importance in the geometric design of roads and intersections. inter-laboratory experiments were designed to evaluate the impact of plas- tic waste blended directly in bitumen and to assess the properties, using conventional and advanced bituminous binder testing. The blends tar- geted 5% of plastic waste in 95% bitumen, using two types of polyethy- lene (PE) primary (pellets) and secondary (shreds) waste. The experiments showed that the addition of PE waste to bitumen does not alter the chem- istry of the bitumen, the blending is physical. In the early 2000’s, a new component of the cost of reproduction was proposed: oxidative stress. Since then the oxidative cost of reproduction hypothesis has, however, received mixed support. Different arguments have been provided to explain this. Among them, the lack of a life history perspective on most experimental tests was suggested. We manipulated the levels of a key intracellular antioxidant (glutathione) in captive zebra finches (Taeniopygia guttata) during a short period of early life and subsequently tested the oxidative cost of reproduction. Profit vs morality: how unfair is labor market discrimination? Results from a survey experiment

Using an original survey-experimental protocol, we study the normative acceptability of the trade-off between immoral profit (discrimination) and costly morality (non-discrimination). We test the causal influence of three factors: i) the origin of discrimination, ii) the steepness of the morality/profit trade-off and iii) anti-discriminatory moral injunctions. Contrasting with past experimental and attitudinal studies, we find that a significant minority of respondents believe that labor market discrimination is acceptable when morality results in profit loss. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir uzsvērt ES un ASV tirdzniecības dinamiku un paredzēt tās gaidāmos scenārijus. Metodoloģija ietver teorētisko un empīrisko analīzi. Pārbaudot tirdzniecības ietekmējošos faktorus, tiek sadalītas OLS regresijas no tirdzniecības smaguma modeļa, lai pārbaudītu šādus piecus mainīgos: TTIP sarunu process, IKP uz vienu iedzīvotāju, kopējā zemes platība, FDI un kopīgā valoda. Kopējais novērojums ir 308, aptverot ES-28 un ASV laikposmā no 2009. līdz 2019. gadam. Regresijas rezultāti liecina, ka, izņemot FDI, pārējie četri pārējie mainīgie nav korelēti ar tirdzniecības plūsmu. ES un ASV tirdzniecības prognozes ir noteiktas divos virzienos.
