Purpose – The purpose of this research is to pursue two major objectives. First, to identify the key design variables for building successful transactional SME (Small Medium Enterprises) websites. Second, the transactional relevance of each key design variable is tested in order to establish priorities.Design/methodology/approach – The present paper is developed through seven consumer focus groups. Tomando como base la Teoría de Liderazgo Transformacional (Bass, 1985), se estudian las conductas que componen los estilos de liderazgo y su relación con tres variables de resultado: la eficacia del líder, la satisfacción con el líder y el esfuerzo extra de los subordinados; así como el aumento de los efectos (augmentation effect) del liderazgo transaccional cuando además se utiliza el liderazgo transformacional. The analysis of economic policy is made through a new methodology using the information provided by businesses to the Bank of Spain. The financial statements are the result of economic and financial transactions in a year and show a behavior that is likely to be measured by applying the Edgeworth’s box for analysis. This means that it is possible to measure the response of firms against market disruptions through an accounting interpretation of the information contained in the financial statements. Pre-industrial money supply typically consisted of multiple, often foreign currencies. Standard economic theory implies that this entails welfare loss due to transaction costs imposed by currency exchange. Through a study of novel data on Finnish nineteenth-century parish-level currency conditions, we show that individual currencies had principal areas of circulation, with extensive co-circulation restricted to the boundary regions in between. We show that trade networks, defined here through the regional co-movement of grain prices, proved crucial in determining the currency used.
