During the period 1995-1999, the Sala Parpalló was located in the Beneficència Cultural Center of Valencia, sharing the place with the spaces of the Museum of Prehistory, the Museum of Ethnology and the IVEI. In the investigation it exposed a technical file for each of the 57 self-produced exhibitions carried out in the period and a selection of the studies that accompanied them: the files are displayed chronologically according to the procedures used. In quest’opera l’autrice, Hattie Hartman, architetto e urban designer, formatosi alla Harvard University e al Massachusetts Institute of Technology, scrive alla luce dell’esperienza maturata come Sustainability editor nel settimanale inglese “The Architects’ Journal”, edito dal 1896 a compendio del famoso mensile internazionale “The Architectural Review”, proponendoci una lettura sulla sostenibilità dei lavori per le Olimpiadi di Londra 2012.

Citrus fruits are extensively grown and much consumed around the world. Eighteen percent of total citrus cultivars are destined for industrial processes, and as a consequence, large amounts of waste are generated. Citrus waste is a potential source of high biological value compounds, which can be used in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries but whose final disposal may pose a problem due to economic and environmental factors.
