Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) represents a strategic solution for the preservation of cultural heritage buildings. Existing masonry structures often suffer reductions in mechanical performances due to physiological aging of material constituents, external actions, and effect of catastrophic natural events. In many cases, the prompt prediction of damage in masonry elements is difficult and it can cause sudden collapses, compromising the safety of people. Izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju saistības strādājošiem un nestrādājošiem studentiem

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju rādītāju statistiski nozīmīga saistība strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu grupās. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 respondenti (N=100), vecumā no 17 līdz 55 gadiem, no tiem 60 sievietes un 40 vīrieši. Pētījuma gaitā, respondenti tika iedalīti 2 grupās (katrā grupā 50 respondenti). 50 respondenti, kuri tikai studē un 50 respondenti, kuri studē un strādā. Kā mērinstrumenti tikai izmantota akadēmiskās izdegšanas aptauja studentiem un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja. Respondentiem tika lūgts aizpildīt aptauju elektroniski. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin Jyväskylän yliopiston toisen ja neljännen vuosikurssin opiskelijoiden kokemaa stressiä ja opiskelukuormituksesta palautumista. Tutkimus on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston Student Life -rahoitteista Onko hoppu? (opiskelijoiden Hyvinvointi, Opiskelusta Palautuminen ja Urahallintataidot) -opiskelijatutkimusta. Tavoitteenamme oli tarkastella Student Life -toimintaan osallistuneiden opiskelijoiden stressiä ja opiskelukuormituksesta palautumista. Papildus tam psiholoģisko veselību var ietekmēt studijas ārvalstīs, jo jaunieši, uzsākot studijas tālu no mājām, ne tikai nonāk jaunā vidē, bet arī svešā kultūrā un sastopās ar akadēmiskajām prasībām, kuras ir atšķirīgas no tiem pierastājām. Uztvertais sociālais atbalsts no draugiem un tuviniekiem var mīkstināt radušos grūtību un problēmu slogu. Aim: The aim was to introduce new explanatory construct, namely illegitimate tasks from Stress-as-Offense-to-Self Theory (SOS), to better understand information security behavior (ISB). In addition, more commonly used constructs from Deterrence theory (DT) and Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) were used to explain ISB. Physiological and physical performance changes during a 20-day winter military training course and its subsequent 10-day recovery period

The present study investigated physiological, mental and physical performance changes during a 20-day winter military training course and the following 10-day recovery period. Fifty-eight (age 19 ± 1 years, height 182 ± 6 cm, body mass 78.5 ± 7.2 kg) male soldiers volunteered. Body composition, serum biomarker levels and performance tests were measured four times during the study. In addition, questionnaires were collected daily for subjective stress and rate of perceived exertion.
