Stressi ja terveys väestöllisissä ryhmissä : tutkimus ihmisten stressi- ja sairastuvuusalttiudesta
2003
Tämän tutkielman aiheena on stressin ja terveyserojen mittaaminen väestöllisissä ryhmissä. Tutkimuksen lähtöasetelma on varsin psykologinen.

EFFECTS OF THE ENRICHED-ORGANIC DIETS COMPOSITION ON EUROPEAN SEA BASS (Dicentrarchus labrax) NEW TOOLS FOR FISH WELFARE EVALUATION IN AQUACULTURE
2021
In recent years, concern for the welfare of animals, including fish, has a strong impact on public opinion, putting pressure not only on producers and the scientific community, but also on institution to guarantee adequate "standards” for animal welfare. The market today challenges the production capacity of aquaculture by asking for products with consistently high quality. Unlike other farming methods, there is a lack of scientific information on the welfare of fish reared under intensive aquaculture conditions. Among the various aspects that characterize aquaculture, the increase in fish welfare has an impact on public opinion also for economic reasons whereby is very important to keep an…

Nonākot pretrunās: afgāņu patvēruma meklētāju izpratne un spēja tikt galā ar potenciāli traumatiskām pieredzēm Lesbas salā, Grieķijā
2022
Emergence of technostress among employees working with physical robots
2023
Despite the growing body of literature on technostress, there is limited knowledge about the emergence of technostress among people working with physical robots. In this paper, we aim to address this research gap by exploring how technostress emerges among employees working with physical robots. The study was based on qualitative online questionnaire responses from 197 present or previous users of robots at work. Based on our data, we identified several robot-related environmental conditions that contributed to perceived work-related stress. Our findings reveal that the emergence of technostress among employees working with physical robots has distinct characteristics and that the technostr…

Differential Effects of Mindfulness-Based Intervention Programs at Work on Psychological Wellbeing and Work Engagement.
2021
Two different mindfulness-based interventions were deployed in a sample of white-collar workers to explore the differential effects on different facets of mindfulness, dimensions of psychological wellbeing, work engagement, performance, and stress of a participant. A total of 28 participants completed one of the different programs, and their results were compared between groups and against 27 participants randomly allocated to a waiting list control group. Results suggest both mindfulness intervention programs were successful at increasing the levels of psychological wellbeing, work engagement, and performance of the participants, as well as decreasing their levels of stress. Significant di…
