Centralną prawdą objawienia chrześcijańskiego jest to, że absolutnie pierwsze są Osoby boskie wraz z Ich wzajemnym przylgnięciem oraz łącznością. Ich komunia stanowi istotę, archetyp wszelkich rzeczywistości jest tym, według czego winno być wszystko kształtowane. Trójca Święta i małżeństwo ludzi to dwie rzeczywistości całkowicie różne. La questione delle unioni tra persone dello stesso sesso richiede un intervento del legislatore, come già evidenziato dalla giurisprudenza costituzionale più recente. Gli interventi del giudice sovranazionale possono costituire occasione di riflessione e di sollecitazione, ma non possono alterare la natura di istituti, come il matrimonio e la famiglia, nei quali si riflette l'identità costituzionale degli Stati.

L’eiaculazione precoce presenta degli aspetti di indubbio rilievo canonistico, in quanto può non solo costituire (in un rapporto di concorrenza o di alternanza) una possibile causa della mancata consumazione del matrimonio o della sua nullità per impotenza maschile, ma può rilevare anche sotto diversi altri profili. L'eiaculazione precoce – oltre a potere provocare lo scioglimento del matrimonio per inconsumazione ex can. 1142 – si presta ad una molteplice chiave di lettura sotto il profilo della sua incidenza negativa sulla validità del matrimonio.
