In an attempt to improve the effectiveness of statistical process control (SPC) procedures, a variety of adaptive schemes has been developed in the last decades. However, considering control charts for attributes, relatively few works about adaptive schemes have been proposed, and most of them were proposed only recently. The present paper proposes a design approach for a statistical process control (SPC) procedure implementing a c control chart for non-conformities, with the aim to minimize the hourly total quality-related costs. The latter take into account the costs arising from the non-conforming products while the process is in-control and out-of-control, for false alarms, for assignable cause locations and system repairs, for sampling and inspection activities and for the system downtime. In this paper we focus on the enhancement in accuracy approximating a function and its derivatives via smoothed particle hydrodynamics. We discuss about improvements in the solution by reformulating the original method by means of the Taylor series expansion and by projecting with the kernel function and its derivatives. The accuracy of a function and its derivatives, up to a fixed order, can be simultaneously improved by assuming them as unknowns of a linear system. The improved formulation has been assessed with gridded and scattered data points distribution and the convergence has been analyzed referring to a case study in a 2D domain.

The overall kinetic energy reduction due to increasing share of converter-interfaced generation (CIG) has been investigated so far by several works for systems of different types and sizes. Equivalent Circuit Modelling of Ferrite Inductors Losses

The modelling of the magnetic losses in the core of ferrite inductors for power conversion circuits has been considered in this paper. On the basis of the Revised Generalized Steinmetz Model (RGSE) an equivalent circuital modelling has been obtained. The losses are modelled as an equivalent resistance connected in parallel to the inductor. The model has been tested under periodic triangular current waveforms.

Emerico Amari, political theorist and man of Renaissance, made a significant contribution to the 18th century constitutional thought. He worked actively to develop a new possible institutional framework in the post-revolutionary Sicily, and for the protection of the Statuto Albertino. He theorized that only the correct use of the constitutional bodies and the full carrying out of the above-mentioned Chart were the most useful tools against any form of despotism, the unique premises of each political reform and a certain sign of renewal.

L'autrice affronta lo studio dell'Appel des Siciliens à la nation anglaise garante de la Constitution, violèe par le roi de Naples, un documento noto agli storici, ma non ancora sufficientemente analizzato. L'appello, pubblicato anonimo nel 1817, in lingua francese e inglese, viene attribuito dall'autrice a Niccolò Palmeri che, nel settembre del 1821 si rivolse al Parlamento inglese con una lettera nella quale manifestò il «proprio rancoroso disappunto verso il Governo inglese per essersi prestato a “far cancellare tutto ciò che si era fatto in Sicilia sotto i suoi auspici» .
