“Čut’ živye, v noč’ osennjuju / My s ochoty vozvraščaemsja…” Secondary predicate in Nekrasov’s poetic texts

The main aim of the article is to examine the grammatical and stylistic functions of the predicative attribute in the poetic work of Nekrasov. The study contributes to the general ‘grammar of poetry’, which has been proposed and developed by Roman Jakobson. The study shows that Nekrasov often used the predicative attribute and it constitutes one of the specific features of his style. Grammatically extended adjectival, participial and adverbial phrases, frequent in Nekrasov’s poetry, cause additional predication, which makes it possible to expand the narrative. Tässä opinnäytetyössä tarkastellaan, onko kokonaisarkkitehtuurin kypsyystasolla ja kokonaisarkkitehtuurituotteen laadulla keskinäistä yhteyttä. Tämän selvittämiseksi valittiin kirjallisuuslähteistä ne artikkelit, joissa kokonaisarkkitehtuurin laatua tutkitaan laatuattribuuttien (quality attributes) kautta. Näiden artikkeleiden perusteella muodostettiin kahdeksan laatuattribuuttia. Näiden laatuattribuuttien kuvauksia verrattiin kolmen kypsyysmallin (JHKA:n kypsyystasomalli, EAMM, DyAMM) kypsyystasokuvauksiin. Rayleigh-instability-driven dewetting of thin Au and Ag films on indium-tin-oxide surface under nanosecond laser irradiations

Investigations have been carried out on laser-beam-induced nanoparticle (NP) formation in thin (5 nm) Au and Ag films on indium-tin-oxide substrate. After the irradiation the films were observed to break-up into NPs through a dewetting mechanism. This mechanism was investigated as a Rayleigh-instability- driven process. In fact, for each used laser fluence, the resulting Au and Ag NPs' mean size and surface-to-surface mean distance were quantified and correlated between them in the framework of the Rayleigh-instability theory showing an excellent agreement. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2013.
