Photoresponse of graphene ruthenium-complex heterostructures

The aim of this study is to understand the photoresponse of a Ruthenium-complex/graphene heterostructure. Early work demonstrated that light detection by graphene field effect devices was enhanced by dropcasting Ruthenium Complex molecules. Here we proposed to fabricate a new class of devices where the Ruthenium-complex molecules are embedded between two layer of CVD monolayer graphene.

In this article, the authors discuss the legal liabilities of the professional engineer as both the engineer of record of a project and the construction site manager. In particular, this article analyzes the case of a fire at the end-user medium voltage–low-voltage (MV–LV) substation of a shopping center in Italy, which occurred a few years after the maintenance works on the electrical installation. The professional engineer who had designed and overseen the construction of the substation was accused of professional negligence. EMI Worsening in a SMPS with Non-linear Inductor

This paper is focused on the input current in a Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) in which the power inductor is exploited up to the saturation showing a non-linear behaviour. The input current exhibits a distortion due to the non-linearity. The electromagnetic interference (EMI) caused by the ripple at switching frequency, superimposed to the DC value of the input current, requires a suitable design of the input differential mode (DM) filter. The input current is analyzed both in the time and frequency domain for different operating conditions, and it is compared to a SMPS equipped with a traditional linear inductor.

For enhanced control algorithm design purposes, accurate and high-fidelity electrical machine mathematical models are fundamentals. Usually, accurate evaluation of electrical machine behaviour requires finite element analysis (FEA) with consequent high-computational times. This paper presents an improved high-fidelity Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (IPMSM) mathematical model including saturation, cross-coupling, torque ripple and iron loss effects. Prende corpo in questo repertorio, attraverso i profili critici e soprattutto nella proposta antologica dei testi, la fisionomia artistica e privata di alcune tra le protagoniste esemplari dello scenario culturale siciliano.
Statue lignee nel Settecento nelle chiese di Ficarazzi: aggiunte alla produzione di Filippo Quattrocchi e della sua bottega

Il contributo esamina quattro statue lignee, due delle quali inedite, custodite nelle chiese di Ficarazzi, piccolo centro delle province di Palermo. Si tratta di sculture realizzate tra la fine del Settecento e i primi decenni del secolo successivo, che vengono ricondotte per la prima volta al noto Filippo Quattrocchi e alla sua bottega, in particolare al figlio Francesco. Il s'agit d'interroger les évolutions qui conduisent de la remise en cause de la muséologie classique, et de la réhabilitation de la connaissance par les sens, et non par le seul intellect ou la seule émotion, aux logiques qui valorisent le spectaculaire muséal. Cette évolution ayant pour effet de faire se rencontrer parfois les approches scénographiques des nouveaux musées et celles des parcs d'attraction.
