Characterisation of mechanical behavior of a sub surface drilled polymer, under hertzian contact load

This research concerns the understanding of the sub-surface behaviour of a component presenting controlled heterogeneities and subjected to a Hertzian type load. The purpose is to qualify the stress field in the subsurface. Practically, defects of cylindrical shape are located where the stress field is maximal in sub surface. The contact is sized to be able to observe, by photoelasticity, the stress field and to develop a numerical model to simulate the behaviour (static and dynamic) of the friction area. International audience; This paper presents an optimal selection on the region of interest (ROI) and color spaces to extract photoplethysmography signals from facial videos. The study is carried out under two sections; ROI selection and color space selection. We compared five different ROI selection for different regions of the face. We also investigated three color spectrums namely additive, perceptual and orthogonal color spaces. The study experimented on the publicly available human-computer interaction (HCI) database. Abstract My research is an attempt at suggesting a cross-linguistically valid definition of verbs characterized by unagentivity and affectedness such as “burn”, “die”, “sink”, “fall”, “slide”, etc., which according to the present analysis constitute the semantic core of unaccusativity. Both synchronic and diachronic approaches are followed. Various definitions have been attributed to these verbs (eventives, anticausatives, transformatives, inchoatives, decausatives). The control theory of driving suggests that driver distraction can be analyzed as a breakdown of control at three levels. Common approach for analyzing distraction experimentally is to utilize capacity-based measures to assess distraction at the level of operational control. Problem drugi obejmuje kwestie współpracy międzynarodowej w wymianie informacji. Problem trzeci powstaje w wyniku stosowanych przez przestępców taktyk opóźniających wykrycie przestępstwa.

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 25 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 9 attēlus, 1 tabulu, 21 atsauci uz literatūras avotiem. Darba uzdevums ir novērtēt, vai kontaktlēcu lietošana pozitīvi ietekmē redzes funkcijas anizometropijas ambliopijas gadījumā. Pētījumā piedalījās 16 pacienti (24 – 54 g.v.). Pēc pilnas refrakcijas korekcijas izrakstīšanas katru mēnesi 6 mēnešu laikā tika novērtēts lēcas novietojums, iespējamās lēcas ģeometrijas, redzes asuma un binokularitātes izmaiņas. Visiem pacientiem uzlabojās redzes asums (0,4 ± 0,2, decimālās vienībās), novēroja pirmās pakāpes binokularitātes pazīmes un 11 pacientiem varēja noteikt rupju stereoredzi.
